Sounds so much better. I think the third high flow cat was a great choice.
No - he needs quad tip exhaust for those cutouts on the bumper! But still looks good and sounds so much better! SHE CAN BREATHE!
That’s how a corvette should sound
Sound really good wasn’t expecting that it would look so much better with quad tips tho
Agree sound. Quad tips ... prefer this instead
Should have gone with quad tips to flow better with the rear bumper
Agreed would look great with the taillights
@@Joooi that’s true
@@Joooi Another reason is that not a single one of these cars came out of the factory with the dual tips on level. Not a single one and it always drove me crazy.
That third high flow cat was definitely a great choice, sounds 🔥
Sounds better than quiet stock but honestly, I think it should’ve had quad tips
I have a 92 with no mufflers and it sounds great. Like an old school muscle car with modern comforts. These really are great cars for the money. Plenty of power to play around with.
That sounds great for a good old 5.7!
That's way much better than what it sounds like before.
Wow this the first 5.7 that sounds 🔥🔥🔥
Sounds amazing on the takeoff ! 🔥
I would take the third cat off because usually those aren't necessary for emissions test, but it sounds very good 💜
I was like noooo needs the quad tips.
Then I saw the single tips and was like ok nevermind, feel like it updates the cars look in a good way. Sounds so sick now
Sounds so much better than before 👌
Amazing! Especially for a straight piped!
I do prefer the quad tips but dang it still looks amazing with the setup here, sounds great too
Sounds much better!
I have an L98 car with about a foot of exhaust pipe on each side with a high flow zoomie baffle inserted into each pipe. Dump exhaust tips on the ends turned down toward the pavement. Try that for loud.
Very topical, as I have a 91 C4, bone stock. Really love the thing, but they sound boring, so I'm thinking about doing something to the exhaust. This sounded so much better.
Best job ever. You get to work on all the coolest cars
good ol l98, got an 89' myself
Another great job, Exhaust Addicts team! Sounds awesome.
replace the first 2 with good ones and get rid of the 3rd one.
1000% improvement!
Sounds nice, but for my preference a Magnaflow would just be amazing
I don’t know if you will see this but what kind of dual tip is better, one where it Y’s out or one where it branches off, how big of a difference is there
The 11 year olds who leave comments on these videos I'm convinced have no real taste in V8 sounds. Just because it's a V8 doesn't make it automatically sound good.
was the hood and body panels joke a funny little poke towards Cleetus Mcfarland? lol😅
sounds good but downgraded to dual tip from quad
Hell yea, all American muscle, my dream car is a 96 Impala ss with the 5.7
Maple motors in Tn. has four of them right now.
Does the tips make a difference if yes what?? I want to know for a 2020 dodge charger rt v8
Tips don’t make a difference whatsoever other than a personal preference of what kind of tips you want. Some people say and will probably comment and say they make a difference in the sound but they really don’t at all. It’s just not big enough to make a difference and if so it’s so minimal it wouldn’t be able to tell. Anything behind the tips are what really makes a difference. Get a muffler delete that always sounds good on dodges 😍
@@hardhitter5099 i just really like the straigh pipe tbh
Yes slightly, more so when the rest of your exhaust is aftermarket, usually if they are longer or bigger diameter. It's only really noticeable on startup and idle.
Some say they don't, but that's just not the case.
Wayyyy better
oh yea i think im gonna highflow cat my c5 zo6 that will sound good paired with my borla straight pipe... ill take a trip to TN from NC i want u guys to throw them on
Oh yea
That sounds really good!
I was wondering if u can't mock up some of these exhaust to sell.I see u did one for a Chevy obs with cut outs and stuff.and it just had me wanna get that same set up....make a sight and sell some customized exhaust to sell..I'm sure I'm not the onlyiest one who would buy..I got an 91 obs side step that Im gonna put a lt1 engine and tranny.I want a customs exhaust..and yes I'm an exhaust addict
Should have done quad tips
He said it's clean interior. Disregard the rip leather seats lol
What mic do you use? I think this is lack of deep bass & too much wide stereo,
Only Took 32 Years To Wake Her Up
Sounds lovely.
@exhaustaddicts is it better to remove the front two or the middle for sound?
"91 vet baby" lol
sounds awesome!!!!
how many catalytic converter replacements do i buy for an LT1?
There are two main cats and a single resonator ,which you can do away with . You have more options if you don't have to pass emissions.
Sounds great
The stock doesnt sound great but stright piping is so low effort and just makes needless noise that makes everyone around you hate you. Ill never understand it, other than i guess making an actual exhaust system that regulates but enhances sound is complicated and expensive.
What did you that cost?
I like it sounds wick'd yo
Auto ?
Looks terrible. Put 4 pipes on to keep the stock look, just use a 1-2 Y.
Would be better catless with an x pipe
never knew straight piped meant having cats and “high flow cats” smh gtfoh 🤣
thats not straight pipe lol
Wrong tips. Needs proper duals.
Another muffler delete with sucky sound.
😏😏😏😏😏
sounds like a mustan rice rocket
Nice I love the L98 🤌🏽🔥
That's LT1. L98 was 1990 and older.
@@shawndon7374that's a L98 , 1991 was the last year for the L98 motor in C4 corvettes .
@@BenjaminBoykin ah ok thanks for the correction
