This is exciting. I hope the remaining part is not abandoned, and when completed, they put functioning traffic lights in place. All in all, I’m glad about this. And thanks for the upload, Mr Gbolahan👍🏾
You are welcome, as at December works was still ongoing and almost completed on the flyover that links Sagamu-Benin expressway which is the only part left

I was thinking the same thing, the drainage looks dangerous. I personally don’t think a drainage is necessary on that kind of a road, it is an highway and not a road within a street. They should have just directed the the flow of water into the vegetation. That is the way many federal roads are built.
@@chrisoghenetegamaloney5799 The federal roads don't have drainage and they are usually around for long. The federal highways in the USA also don't have drainage.

Thanks for this video , before I left Lagos to abroad few years now Epe road to ijebu ode was bad , I was schooling Tasued then , happy to see new face of the road .
Private sector needs to build trailers stop stations because the trailers are going to be parking on the road and dirty everywhere and Destroyed the road. Trucks and trailers stop needs build in all Nigeria expressway.
It should take roughly 2hrs 30mins with minimal traffic. The only obstacle getting out of Lekki will be the ongoing construction on Lekki - Epe Expressway.
Why won’t it look dangerous when half of money meant for the contract have been spent on luxury mansions in banana island. Most of the corrupt killer politicians fly using private jets because they knew how dangerous Nigeria roads can be because of boko haram terrorist parading the roads and killing sporadically.
This is a state project and taking the bull by the horn and wish other regions will stop whinning and start working for their people, they should stop depending for federal govt for everything.
We from the East simply needs our Biafraland and we can come to Lagos thru the sea simple from calabar or airlines bcos we have all it takes.no being a money spinning machines for others okay???we had tried for the Nigerian project's.congratulations
Many sacrifice to repair a damage home comes to say a delapitate nation like ours, is only a man that will not mind what ever it may course that can fix a place like Africa mostly Nigeria
I read through the comments and I am genuinely schocked. This is an infomercial for a private company's toll road. This "road" covers a few kilometers, after which, you are on your own with pot holes. Given how basically sub-standard this road is, there is absolutely no reason for toll to be collected on this road. Plus, is there an alternative for those who do not want to pay these tolls? and, who puts pedestrian crossing in the middle of a forest? SMH
Wow this is great development! And finally they're marking the roads. Great job.
My brother I have always complained about that. Road markings keep cars on their lanes and beautiful as well
I am giving 5 stars to the nature in Nigeria, palm trees everywhere. Damn Beautiful!
Thanks for showcasing these infrastructure developments. You are doing a wonderful public service. Keep it up!
Thank you so much!!!!
Gbolahan, well done 👍
Thank you!!! 🙏

I will definitely.... Thank you!!!
Great, we also need to connect Ikorodu Sagamu to decongest Lagos Ibadan expressway.
It also connects Ikorodu as well through Epe - Ikorodu road
Good job keep it on
Thank you... 🙏
Go job. Omo those drainages shouldn't be left open like that naw.. It's too risky for the road users.
Am hoping it will be covered but from the look of things when I went there I don’t think it was designed to be covered.
I was thinking the same thing, the drainage looks dangerous.

@@AnikulapoOlawale here we experience flooding unlike US, I think it doesn't rain much over there just my thought
If we have this kind of road all over Nigeria won't it be good? They now have sense to put road markings
Nice. how far has RCC gone with the construction of Benin/Ore shagamu Expressway construction?
There is an ongoing work. There is a flyover under-construction at Epe junction close to Tai Solarin along Benin-Ore road

Good job Seriously, i think they will Complete it next year Seriously
I think so as well, the only major construction left is the flyover which is already under construction....
More of this development for Africa

Good to see new road development along this route. Let us hope it is properly maintained and does not fall into neglect.
With the toll on the road, it should be properly maintained hopefully...
Look at ivory coast road,Nigeria has to look at it to construct their road better

The sid road has to be taken in account because the red sand will spoil the road again.and the middle separation of the road is a joke
APC is really trying ,thank God
Skies would fall if they stop constructing open drains. Very annoying!!!
Most of the ongoing construction have stop open drains..... but was surprised this road was built with open drains. 😮😮
Nothing is wrong with open drains.
You don't waste valuable resources covering drainages in a country that needs to build more roads.

There is nothing special about this road, they showing electronic toll where the government will be extorting from the poor drivers.
