But psss out is also used for completing training in military schools etc in British English and in Indian English pass out can also mean completing a course. I actually learnt Malayalam after I “passed out” from high school. Pass out means “become unconscious or faint” . For native English speakers, it may look funny. Indian English is freakishly annoying.
