[SFM/Gmod Collab] If TF2 Was Mixed With Other Flash Games

- 27/12/20 Update: This video should not be doing as well as it currently is.
Around 3 years ago, support for Flash was planned to be shut down in December of 2020. Software preparations were planned, replacements for Flash were programmed, and announcements were made. The world moves on from a relic - a piece of software older than many of its users.
But before we move on, 15 animators have decided that this relic means enough to each of us. Enough to create a Gmod or SFM animation in tribute to the Flash games which kept us entertained.
As the internet continues to grow, it will not be long until Flash be forgotten among the tides of newer, more ad-friendly works.
A toast to Flash. May we never forget what it stands for, whatever that may be.
Participants in order of their animations:
00:00 Dummie: Prologue
00:18 MegaEvo: Breaking the Bank
01:53 DRAGO: Sierra 7

What did Flash stand for you?
Was it Flash's independent nature, showing that one could publish one's own digital media without help from significantly larger entities?
Was it Flash's unapologetic and borderline style, enough to make corporations and ad agencies stay away?
Or was it just the flexibility of the internet, where a game could be played easily?
Childhood! Super smash flash, Super Mario Bloopers, Club Penguin, Fantage, Duck Life, that one ice fishing game... They're all so simple yet addictive. King dot com as well! I think those contributed to the fact that I like gaming now.

And after that I developed my gaming skills, meet the Internet and newgrounds.
And of course - pron cartoons with hentai

RIP Flash games, you have served us well. You will be gone but not forgotten
They never will, there is another option to play them that doesn't involve Flash
You can also get flashpoint, an archive of nearly all flash products. It's pretty cool.
@@DrMatrix1231 awesome
@@FLUFFCHIRP yeah, look it up. Flashpoint project is the full title, I have it myself and it's really cool.
The Henry stickmen series survived it all which is impressive
While i have never been into flash games myself, it's impossible to deny it's influence on today's internet and gaming culture. RIP flash, you will be missed.

You are genuinely my favorite SFMer. The animation is frequently clunky as hell, but it gives it this unmistakable charm! ILY BUD!
Do we tell him?
@@vacilated i don't know.
@@lahar2412 Oh, I know it's a collab. I'm talking in general.
@@HoovyTube ok
No.
To me, flash was a getaway from all my problems. It was like that one brother that you have fun with whenever you’re feeling down or even just bored. I want to thank Dummie and everyone who contributed to this masterpiece, even if my part looked clunky (hadn’t done some animating in a while) my part is on 14:39

Thanks Dummie for organizing this collab and including me!
Also, remember that BlueMaxima's Flashpoint is a thing that exists, in case any of you want to play Flash games and relive some memories in the future
There's also the newgrounds flash player! It'll work beyond the death of flash, and will play any games on newgrounds (which is a lot) which is pretty cool.
Knowing that flash will end... make me cry ;'(
Your Were Good Flash Games Real Good. Maybe Even The Best. You Have Been In My Childhood For Years Now. And I Won't Forget The Happiest Moments You Gave Me
11:36, ah so THAT’s where the Scout goes whenever I mod TF2 to have Sonic playermodels instead of the normal ones.
Oof.
Figures
16:07 names are clever, those are the real names of the scout and engineer, also pyro having [Redacted] as a name is also cool since his/her name is unknown
The fact that Rail of War is my fav flash game really REALLY touched me.
Child hood memories will never forget each game of flash games
Reposting this from a reply down below. These are the basic steps to make your own backup of your favorite games or other flash content
Go to the desired content and right click.
Click inspect. The pages code should open.
Ctrl+f. This opens a search box.
Type in .swf .This is the file type that flash games/animations/whatever else is.
If more than one .swf’s are found you likely want the first one.
Right click on the file and try to open in a new tab/go to. This should download the .swf file.
From here you can load it into the flash debugger or an emulator and run your favorite flash content after end of life.
The reason I explain the process is because many people may know or remember a game(s) that no one else does, I know of at least three that are basically only found in the creator’s portfolio and they are making no effort to persevere them so I’m doing it so they aren’t lost forever.
Do you know of any database where .swf files are being collected and stored?
@@ryanphillips4123 if I remember correctly there’s “Flash Game Archives” and “Flashpoint” for games but I don’t know about animations.
@@sandart8508 FlashPoint also haves some animations
I played these games for the hell of it, they all gave meaning to what we loved playing now, Being side by this community was worth it, Friends come together to look at old games and old times of what they loved. I am proud to say this was one of the Best Collabs I could ever take part in, keep doing what you do best guys, we’re all in this together.
I just went to replay all these games... thank you so much for helping me recall all these masterpieces. RIP in peace Flash

Ah wow, the end of an era. Flash games were an enormous part of my life for a short while, the mystery and pure joy of finding a new game each time and playing it without knowing what the hell I was doing was beautiful. Massive round of applause to the people who helped create this collab!
glad you had this put together to honor the good things that Flash Gave us. glad some of the game makers went to make their games available for Steam

Thanks for making this. Im happy to see it and remember it
Shit man I’ll miss flash games.
Even though they didn’t introduce me to video games or made up a lot of my childhood, I still and always will remember the first handful of times I played ones like Monster Evolution, the Bill Cosby one were you kill and bury and stuff, RAZE, Last Stand Union City,
:the game: and so much more.
Good news is that at least for Newgrounds, you can download a flash player, or something like that I don’t remember exactly what it was called, so you can still access all the good stuff on there.
Thanks Dummie for giving me mad nostalgia from hosting this collab lol.
The people in the future who saw video. will understand after the credit scene
Man, the ending was touching. It was really one of the best collabs I have ever seen. It was an honour to be there. And I really gonna miss some flash games. Anyways, u did well Dummie !) P.s. I'm just $py D. Not Devil Spy D. It was my halloween name!)

This was one of the greatest videos i ever watch in the year
2:54 goddamn I remember that game it was a good game the most terrifying thing the see in that was a bulldozer because for some reason the bulldozers more effective after taking out an armoured train than actual military hardware
This..This is really well made!
Thx bro really nice Job ❤️❤️❤️
This gotta be one of my favorite collabs of all time
oh god rail of war, that brought back some nostalgia
Glad to see another collab release. Makes me remember the days of thing thing flash games with mindless fun.
this was truly a fun trip, wasn't it?
so much happened...
i swear...
these 25 years truly were fun...
starting off with the best flash series now that is what we call cool
You added some of the Gundam OO soundtrack as credit. Thank you for taking my suggestion. Plus contribution to Flash games and their legacy, without it, the Internet would not been so entertaining in the first place.
Welp :)
I am probably the only one who noticed the steam locomotive model for the Rail of War section was of a Pennsylvania Railroad T1. I believe someone made the model because a T1 is being built from the ground up, that being #5550.
This video is a gift
I know I'm late, but these were too amazing for me to acknowledge!

RIP Adobe Flash Player. Gone but not forgotten
FlashPoint
RIP flash game, you are a heroic hero that make our younger day before most game store was open. and you will not be missed son, you will always be remembered
This is awesome. Glad it got suggested to me
This is probably the most awesome crossovers I've ever seen of my two favorite things in the entire world.
As of writing this there are 3 days until flash is gone, looking back flash games were more or less my introduction to video games with things like papa's pizzaria or army of ages, Bob the robber and many more being my go to games for so long, some of my fondest memories of being a kid are sitting down at my dads computer and just playing theas simple games without a care in the world and honestly being terrible at video games but still enjoying them, back in a simpler time with no pandemic or homework assignments or work to care about and now more than ever those days seem farther away than ever before. Even though many games are changing to accommodate the removal of flash many more simply can't so for all the kids who played flash games for hours on end wasting their lives but enjoying every second of it or the people who are going back in the final days of flash to play their favorite titles I have one thing to say.
Godspeed flash player, godspeed
R.I.P Adobe flash player 1996-2020
Gone but not forgotten
Even though Flash is gone, and with it our childhood, it will not be forgotten
I grew up with flash games, and i will miss them all very very much.
Rip in peace flash games.
You served us well.
I remember war train! That dam freaking bulldozer!
Aww Man U have introduced the underestimates Sierra 7 in. I frigging love that game, it is so fluid and the story was thrilling and the combat system is almost perfect. I still remember clicking the detonate button to destroy the Weapon Storage on the final mission, a nice touch of the detonate skill learnt in prologue. The bugs are minimal and ignorable ( there is some bugs when you wants to transfer to other difficulty after finishing final level to get their guns, then the next Prologue clock doesn’t start and ur character just stays there). I have followed Flash Game since 2009 when I was 5, and now I will remember it so much, when the first time I learn to play on y8, Newsground, Stickpage
то самое чувство когда играл почти во все эти игры! Прощай Флеш, мы тебя не забудем!
Im hearing an Opening song of Gundam 00 season 2 from the start
Heck the creator is a cultured guy
NOICE, WHAT THIS COLLAB REPRESENTS IS SO INSPIRATIONAL!!!!
So glad that this was made, but there were some very iconic flash games that were left out of this sadly. Like Strike Force Heroes, Coaster Racer 2, Exit Path, Kingdom Rush, Balloons Tower Defense 6, Duck Life, Motherload, Super Mario Brothers Crossover, Earn to Die among others. So leads me to this question:
Is there going to be a part 2 to this???
Glad I got to enjoy Flash games throughout my childhood, they will be missed 😢
I love you an i thank you for doing this for the sake of flash games
missed opportunity for Burnin' Rubber series to be featured in this video, but awesome video as usual.
That was beautiful. My childhood ! RIP Flash Games...
The memory of flash shall not be forgotten and may it’s legacy live on in the years to come
This is amazing
Gone...but never forgotten. We will miss them.
Flash games. Were such a big thing for me. Since 2009. When I turned 9. I remember just running to my dads computer. To load up flash games and to play some of the coolest games back then. I remember one game I distinctly remember was a helicopter game.
