Can't wait for the 2024 new boat podcast comparison and review show. I've been watching this boat- I'm an old riot fan and like Corrans design style- its head turning, Great review. I'm looking forward to the Indra review now and some of my own demos this season since I'll be picking up one of these high performance creekers up.
😂probably not my first thing I look at on deciding a boat but actually surprised some do trust me I worked in the fishing kayak world and would be so excited to see a paddle and rod holder on a kayak
Its a Corran designed boat so as Wade stated... it likes to be paddled with a forward aggressive pasture, which I would expect having paddled Riot boats since they first hit the scene. The pinacle of Corrans Riot designs were unparalled if you took the time and occasional azz whoopin to really dial in! I did and learned how to engage and use those edges with a forward leaning aggressive paddling style(to this day i hate getting my weight back when paddling) and was always rewarded ... Party on people!
Awesome video as always! Would be great to see you take a few of these new sport creekers out on some laps somewhere to hear your impressions of them going between them on the same day..
weight limit 240lbs if you want it to be more of a half slice feel - your creeking weight limit is closer to 210lbs or so. It's 84gal so its not a monster by any means.
Yes agree that’s why I said yeah technically yes can make it work but don’t think they would enjoy it as much as someone 130-210 max I get it’s difficult to make one size fits all something going to get left out either the super small or bigger paddlers
Wade much appreciated. Give us a Super Skipper (Not the RR ) but do away with that dual planing surface that breaks so harshly under the seat and just give us kick rockers and more bow and stern crowning volume, maybe 98 gallons in 8 feet 10 inches, and you will be good to go in introducing Addison's first universally acclaimed creeker. You and I can split 5% off the top for every "WadeSkipper" sold, and we can retire.
Hahah that be good. And I did a review on the RR I didn’t see the point in reviewing the other one. Personally In my opinion would have been better to do at least 2 sizes of the RR and just don’t do the other one.
Corran has added a slot in the hull of some of the bigger creek boats that accepts a wheel you can put into the slot for easy of transporting. Roll on the ground if even enough instead of carrying the boat. The wheel then stows in the kayak when paddling.
We don’t see many Soul boats in the UK. I like the sound of how it paddles in your review. I don’t think it would be for me though. I prefer a higher knee position and tend to paddle true large boats.
So, sorta like a squirt...has that vibe. I wonder @Wade Harrison. if you have ever paddled a Schriener or Snyder boat...like a Jet or Demon? Like a true glass boat? Pre New Wave stuff.
Hi Wade, would you mind on comparing Guardian vs Green jacket ? Im looking to buy one but not sure which one fits better. I am your size i think. Thanks
I have to do a video on that after more time in the production rEactR but short answer close but different both have the same concept but each has its own feel

@@WadeHarrison how about the Ninga and the Zion Slalom? They seem to be similar in that pivot style tail and performance creeker concept or am I completely off base 😶
Hello, my name is Myungwoo Kwak and I live in Seoul, South Korea. I am enjoying watching the video. The color of the kayak you use is really pretty. I wonder how much it costs. I would appreciate it if you could let me know^^
I definitely wanna see this on some steep waterfally type stuff. I'm honestly not in the market and am gonna keep using my Scorch/Firecracker/OG Ripper combo and I just got a Puffy Steeze too (and probably need to pair all that down), but definitely find all of these "sport creeker" boats pretty interesting and it's gonna be fun to watch other people paddle them and see the differences. As a big dude, either of these new Soul Super Skipper variants is soooo far off my radar as something I would buy though. I had to laugh a little with the "Find a demo" comment. Hope that comment means that Corran is setting up a demo program for these boats and that you won't have to throw $2k plus shipping down on a boat you haven't gotten to try yet. I'm guessing that the RR will sell much much better than the full volume Super Skipper. I was expecting this to be much more of a "regular" Half Slice than a 1.25 or .75 slice or whatever we might call this relatively full volume creeker with slightly low volume ends. Pivot slice? Slalom Creeker? I guess Sport Creeker kinda works. Anways, I don't really see many people pushing themselves enough to really warrant having the Super Skipper and I really don't see the need to have both boats in your quiver... but I'm also not running super scary full on creeks and stuff either.
I thought it was super interesting how Corran and pyranha released a “pivot-able tail” creek boat with similar design language within like a few hours of each other lol. Cool concepts for sure
@@powskier I wasn’t talking about the design lol I was laughing at how soul and pyranha both released their debut videos within minutes of each other lol. I thought it was funny given who Corran is

You make that boat look good Wade! You're freaking good dude!

Yeah it all just lined up

Very difficult to line that up I might do a podcast and talk about each one

Yeah was good day would totally rock this machine
Nice boat - I have a Hiko Gaurdian - damn excellent pfd!
Yeah i have been digging this one
@@WadeHarrison Glad to hear that! Good jacket for sure.
So between this boat, the indra, and React r, is there one youd gravitate towards more for certain styles of paddling?
Let me get in the full production rEactR more and will answer that
What was that suction wheel thingy at the end? My arthritis is asking... Lol.
Corran has added a slot in the hull of some of the bigger creek boats that accepts a wheel you can put into the slot for easy of transporting. Roll on the ground if even enough instead of carrying the boat. The wheel then stows in the kayak when paddling.
It inserts into a slot in the hull that comes molded that way
Is that a stainless steel ferrule on the lettmann?
Yes it is and it feels way better then the older ones
Baby Shampoo on the lens, we use it skiing all the time, RainX if it is glass lens
Thanks will check that out

Very true and yeah I get it not easily to find demos that why i try to do these videos to give a good idea about these new boats
@@WadeHarrison For sure... super grateful for your reviews and really appreciate them especially for these hard to demo boat brands.
Great review, thanks!
Thanks Judy 😊
These are only made in one size, aren't they?
Yes Soul does one size in a lot the models personally I feel 2 at least but get it if want one
