i was really sceptical of these plastic bodied things. but after trying out one for myself, i actually consider buying one. its sounds a thousand times better than what i expected. oh, and purple is, of course, objectivly the best colour there is! subbed to your channel so keep up the good work!

Thanks for mentioning the accessory kit. As I want a strap. 😊

Excellent review, I just put this exact banjolele on reserve at my local music shop, just couldn't resist myself. I look forward to seeing your future content 😁

Its so nice you are back and playing again. great review. I like the Outdoor and the magic Fluke versions too. But more than one banjolele pr house is probably too much.

You should try installing some Aquila Red strings. They really lift the sound of this particular instrument.

Ahh, no. I am definitely NOT a fan of the red strings. They're brittle. I think it's loud enough with other strings!

@@roxieukulele Fair enough. Yeah, it's loud enough as standard, I just find it's a bit brighter with the reds. I've not encountered any brittlenes yet, but they're still new to me.

Thanks for the review! Really helpful. Would you say it is much louder than most banjo ukuleles? I’m looking to get a banjo uke, but I live at home, so I’m not thrilled with the idea of constantly bugging everyone with my practicing. :)

I notice you play the Ukulele with flamenco techniques...is that the way it’s taught, or is that your own technique? I play guitar, and know virtually nothing of ukulele. It’s pretty cool. 🐰🤘🎸

The lineage of my instruction goes back in to vaudeville style playing....tenor banjo, spanish guitar, and UKE, etc. So ya...a little this, a little that.

roxieukulele thanks for the response! Vaudeville...interesting! I love hearing about the journeys of other musicians. I play a few instruments besides guitar, and I frequently get asked about various instruments. I will recommend your channel to anyone interested in the uke. I’m a big advocate of this UA-cam music community, and like to collaborate with lots of people. If you ever wanna create some music together, I would love to see what we can do! Thanks again for the reply!! 🐰❤️🙏🎸🎶✌️

Does it have side dot markers?

Yes, but do they have it in purple? 🤓. Currently looking into installing holiday lights in my clear Little Gem.

It's easy to do non-destructively if you use those clear rubber hooks-on-suckers that are normally used to fix lights to your windows. Just space them around the walls of the pot.
