New rig on the 6dof Sim Racing platform felt a real loss of traction with Assetto Corsa

Properties:
- 6 dof hexapod with rotating actuators
- Dimensions of the base are approx. 1.15x1.15x0.60 m
- 750 watt AC servos 6 pcs 4.5KW total power
- 1:50 gearbox CNC quality
- Approx. 200kg lifting force per motor
- CNC milled rod with ball joint rods
- Frame made of welded steel profiles and CNC machined adapter
- The unit does not have to be anchored to the floor
- 180 mm lever arm length
- Basic diagonal 800 mm
- Sway, Heave, Surge + - 175 mm
- Yaw + - 40 ° (YAW)
- Roll / pitch inclination + -27 °
- speed 600 mm / s max
- Basic weight 130 kg of the platform
- No external control cabinet, servo amplifiers are installed in the base
- Controller Motion4sim servo controller with external control unit
- Up to 0.005 mm resolution for motion cues
- Power consumption approx. 300 watts in regular operation
- Operation with 230V socket possible
- Quiet operation hardly any noises as with linear actuators
- Vibrations in normal operation whether car or Fligthsim suitable for living space

It looks like the 40x40 profile under the front seat is not tightened, it has a play, you can see it in the video, I don't know if this is the intended effect, but maybe it's worth twisting it.

Love the build. I'd love to see some extendable feet or longer on it as it seems a bit unstable for long and quick Surge/sway
Hi thank you very much for your comment. I had extendable feet for more stability in an earlier build. with this build I have never had a problem with tipping over. but extendable feet are an extra option
Thats awesome the 3DOF rig I had had quite a bit of backlash. sold it and interested in building my own. I'm just trying to decide if 6DOF that much better than 3DOF for sim racing.

Always hated the look of that Al profile, makes half the project look like an afterthought. Welded tubing throughout IMHO

why didnt the sim pick up the curb bump @ 5.10 ? would love this as a heli sim . Already have a 3DOF race sim . Will contact you asap.

Must move alot to attempt to simulate G forces
As a race car driver at a semi professional level the cars do move quite a bit but it is more forceful the rigs have to move over a longer distance to have a notable effect
