    At 2.35 the lick is about the same played more than 30 years ago by Getz for the same tune, a fantastic idea!

    Very nicely done! Love this album, I started transcribing his solo on East of the Sun, but didn't make it very far :)

    Right off the top: C, C#, Eb…??? So annoying. Does D not exist in your alphabet?

      The chord is Gm7b5 so it has no D. Don't act smart if you're not

      It's an important point, but without the need to be high and mighty. The 5th of the chord is a lowered D, hence a Db. That way a Db to Eb is a whole step. Writing it as a C# to Eb makes it a diminished third, which is really weird to read. (And keep in mind that any C to any E is some kind of third, and any D to any E is some kind of second.) In historic tunings, a Db and C# are very different pitches because notes of the scale were tuned according to their relationship to the tonic--in this case F Major. A C# would bear a close relationship to sharp keys, not flat keys.
