At 2.35 the lick is about the same played more than 30 years ago by Getz for the same tune, a fantastic idea!

Very nicely done! Love this album, I started transcribing his solo on East of the Sun, but didn't make it very far :)

Kenny Barron
Right off the top: C, C#, Eb…??? So annoying. Does D not exist in your alphabet?
The chord is Gm7b5 so it has no D. Don't act smart if you're not
@@kelyansabz8865 well technically its a Db not a C#, but i agree with u tho xD screw that guy
It's an important point, but without the need to be high and mighty. The 5th of the chord is a lowered D, hence a Db. That way a Db to Eb is a whole step. Writing it as a C# to Eb makes it a diminished third, which is really weird to read. (And keep in mind that any C to any E is some kind of third, and any D to any E is some kind of second.) In historic tunings, a Db and C# are very different pitches because notes of the scale were tuned according to their relationship to the tonic--in this case F Major. A C# would bear a close relationship to sharp keys, not flat keys.
