- Hello! This is a lipsync exercise done during my second year at Gobelins! Always wanted to animate Maid Marian from Robin Hood!
The audio comes from the series "REIGN" !
Still have a lot to learn but I loved doing it! Maid Marian has a special place in my heart !
Wonderful! The original characters' design actually was extremely good, thus they can be taken easier onto new territories, but the way you've animated them (and the audio chosen for it) is extremely convincing. I could have seen a more tormented reunion like this, albeit that in the original movie is also sweet and heartwarming enough, I don't miss either of them.
Hope you have plan to do more with them, in my opinion "Robin Hood" has the best character designs of any animated movie, they can inspire and be used for lots of projects.
Love what you did here in the animation, and it would be awesome to see you animate more scenes of these two together having a conversation. :)

Geez, amazing work! I love student animations, it's like getting to look behind the scenes into how stuff is done. Surprisingly difficult face shape to do expressions on that read well, you did an incredible job. Hope you got an A and are currently working on some TV show or making commercials or something.
Amazing. Can you do Marian's flat shoes animation like how she putting them on and walks in mud?
