Preparation of Climate Data for Arc SWAT input

should climate data (precipitation and rainfall) duration be same as streamflow duration. for swatcup to work. I have climate data from 1980-2017 but streamflow data from 2000-2017. WIll swat cup still run?

what is the date format for swat model? in manual they gave as YYYYMMDD. but you mentioned as YYYYDDMM. which is right?

Yes you can use but you need to simulate the model using monthly time step.

We can't use monthly climate data. Only hydrological data can be daily, monthly or yearly.

No you need to have calibration and validation period for swat.

there is one question:
Can we use different data length of parameters for different climatic station? for example if we have data length of parameters, for one stations, from 1980 to 2005 and for other stations the date which we have is 2000 to 2020.
so can we use this situation in SWAT Model and would the model results be applicable?

It depends on climate data type. Different data length will not work for precipitation and temperature data.

Use UTM converter. Don't forget to confirm the exact position of utm meters on google earth. Conversion needs precision.
