It was advertised like it had the streaming apps already included and could just stream just via wifi. I wanted to be able to use my phone while using the projector .. I’m not tech savvy so maybe I was wrong
Hey strawberry! Yeah sorry no built-in apps, It’s just a projector…. You’ll need something for it to display. (Laptop, phone, streaming device) I use an amazon firestick plugged into the hdmi, it works well.
My screen shows a dark spot now and what I’m finding online collectively says the polarizing panel is toast 😢
😬 … it’s not something simple like the lens being dirty? Try cleaning when it’s cool, might damage if it’s a hot bulb
Can u ceiling mount it? Does it have threaded holes on the bottom of it for the mount screws for a ceiling mount set up/install?
Yes you can, it comes with a basic mounting bracket

Hey Bubz! I totally understand! Use your phone to watch UA-cam/twitch and project it on a big screen.👍😁 I believe you can use Bluetooth to connect to your phone and it will display media.. (pictures, videos etc) I’m not home right now, let me get back to you tomorrow to know for sure
Usually you have to have all the devices on the same WiFi network to screen share..

Hey Bubz! So I got the projector up and running… you can screen mirror with both IOS and Android you either need WiFi, Bluetooth or a wired connection. The instructions on how to connect are on the projector after you start it up.. if you have a specific method you are interested in, let me know I’ll shoot the directions 😁👍
Along with projector we are getting 300 inch screen, but my wall size 180 inch, still can I buy it?
As long as you have enough distance from the projector to screen it shouldn’t distort images much… I think I said how much… 13ft? I can’t remember 😂

@@lakhaner562, you'd only get whatever the size of your wall is. To achieve the 300 inches you'd need to set up the screen outside or in a room with bigger dimensions.

We’ve set up all WiFi connections both phone and projector and it will not projected any of our iPhones it stays on the blue WiFi instructions page
Hey Jairyen! Try giving the router a reset, it’s possible the projector is having connection issues
Mine just spends the wheel instead of projecting my Netflix movie

Same problem wired or wireless it will mirror my screen but when I try to play anything I get the spinning wheel of death but as soon as I unplug it it’s fine.

Hey Lak! The manual doesn't give any details on what mount to use, only vague mounting instructions.. If I’m not using a fire stick can I not play prime movies, Netflix or other like sources from my phone?
You should be able to… as long as you have all devices on the same network you can screen mirror from your phone to the projector… you can also run a cable from your phone and plug it into the projector
Just got mine and wanted to know, if my firestick is on WiFi, why does the projector need to be on WiFi? Is there any benefits to it? Thanks. Good video btw
Hey Tarann! Thanks 😁👍 If you’re watching the firestick, that would need access to WiFi… your projector doesn’t necessarily need WiFi…. Only think I can think of would be if you are screen mirroring your phone wirelessly to the projector, then you would need all your devices on the same WiFi network

Mines is crooked I can't get it to be straight
There’s a couple options to adjust how the picture looks against the screen…. There’s a bolt on the bottom to screw or unscrew to lower/raise the projector height also the wheel on top changes the image angle

Can you connect a PS5 with an HDMI wire?
I’m pretty sure you can, it has an hdmi port, so it should work 😁👍… only thing I would mention is that it’s not a screen or monitor so the definition would be a little lower and have a tiny amount of lag input
Can I connect my AirPods?
Don’t see why not… i can connect my phone to projector… and my earbuds to phone… so I would guess I would be able to have the projector display images while I listen to earbuds… would just have to change settings around
