Yessss! Travelling solo is the best! I started this year because i wanted to go to Mexico but no one could/wanted to join me.. So i had two options: go by myself or not go at all... So i decided to not miss out on exploring beautiful Mexico just because no one else could come. And it was the best decision ever! I had the most amazing time, met so many cool people that i'm still in contact with and most importantly i'm so much more connected to myself now. I learned that i can trust myself and my intuition, that i'm much more independend than i thought and since that trip i actually enjoy being by myself so much more! I'm going to be travelling solo for 3 months (dec-feb) to Vietnam, Philippines and Bali and i can't waaaiit! :) I think when you travel by yourself you experience everything much more deeply and everything is more intense because you really pay attention to your surroundings etc. And if you don't feel like being by yourself there's always people to hang out with :) i think i already wrote you this 'quote' on instagram: at one point we were all strangers :) Btw loved the video and Costa Rica looks amazing! Love you
Annika W. Thanks for sharing your experience! I can relate so much. Traveling alone is a completely different experience. What I love the most about it, is that it’s way easier to meet new people, since you are a lot more open to new connections 😊🙌🏼
Nice! I'm thinking about going next year. I lived in Texas many years and never developed the courage to go. Now I moved to MA and can't wait to visit Mexico. lol
Santa Teresa/ Mal Pais area is my 2nd favorite in CR. Further south (much) is a non touristy surf town called Dominical. I'm here right now! If you come in the dry season and stay up north (Tamarindo, Nosara, Santa Teresa) it is hot and dry, too hot really. Down this way you have wonderful Palms and Almond trees to shade you on the beach. Oh, and water flows in the rivers all year round (for afternoon soaking). Pura Vida!!!
Thank you for this video! I am getting ready to leave for Costa Rica in September for my first solo travel trip. This was helpful to watch and see how much you loved your trip. I have been to Santa Teresa before with other people and plan to go again during my solo trip because I think it is so amazing! Pura Vida!
@@alextravelsph Costa Rica is a great place to go, But they don`t tell you the down side. Before you go any place watch the local news. And never travel alone, Always go with someone 4 your safety
This was such a lovely video, I loved the vibes, listening to you, getting life advices, ... I feel really calm and I'm really excited to work hard to be able to do things like these when I'm done with school. Viele Grüße aus der Hometown Munich :)) P.S: I love the "pure vida" motto!
Ja, ich war jetzt schon öfters für mehrere Wochen allein am Chiemsee, aber ich würde in der Zukunft auch gerne mal alleine weiter weg fahren❤ liebe deine Videos
Thank you so much for your fun and interesting videos. As a sun worshiper from the Sixties, I want to make a gentle suggestion. Please be careful with excess sun exposure as the sun will permanently damage your skin. You are beautiful and stylish enough to show elegant wide brim hats or even wear baseball caps. High sun screens and late day exposure to the sun can also minimize the damage. Best always to your adventures.
That's actually quite funny I saw your video on my main yt page and it caught my attention because I've recently visited Santa Teresa and also made a video about my travels! What a coincidence. I had the best time of my life and looks like you had too. When I go to a cafe I also always order the exact same thing! Awesome to see your perspective! :)
Traveling alone is great, I I spent a month in Santa Teresa in a cabina. One can decide who to spend time with - if anyone..! Especially, if one can surf every day.
Hey amazing video Jolie! Really enjoyed your positivity and courage to do a solo trip! I am planning mine for next year, which month would you recommend to go in a surf trip in Costa Rica?
I love the editing! That is great you got to experience Costa Rica. Santa Teresa is nice. Be sure you come back and visit some of the other parts of the country, too.
Hola!
Thanks for this video. Glad you had such a good solo travel. I have been traveling solo for the last 6 months. I am heading to Santa Teresa, Costa Rica in a couple months. Where did you rent the ATV from?

Here in CR we have only 2 seasons, rainy and summer, right now it's the rainy season, but usually in the beaches the weather still really nice, most of the time!

When where u in Costa Rica?
Iam kind of worried because we go tomorrow for 2 weeks.
Worried because of the rain season
Here in CR we have only 2 seasons, rainy and summer, right now it's the rainy season, but usually in the beaches the weather still really nice, most of the time!
It depends on where you go. If you go to the Caribbean side you should be okay, otherwise, you may be headed for non stop rain.
What r u scared of rain for
If you scare of raining dont go ,🤔
where is your seychell necklace from?
At what time of the year did you travel here?
