Man, I hope they didn't permanently get rid of all the crazy background changes during Sugar Rush, those were always so cool! Maybe it's just a demo thing & they're saving it for the full game (or it's just not done yet idk) but I seriously hope Sugar Rush stays a psychedelic mad dash to the exit and doesn't turn into just "oh no.... guess I'd better go...."
It’s there for Crunchy Construction, but that’s probably because that level is the least altered from the rest of them, so maybe they just had more time to make that background alteration during Sugar Rush, I do hope that all levels get that crazy distorted background too, so far everything seems like it’s coming along marvelously!

It rains in Mollasses Swamp I guess. Sugar shack does have some neat changes though, but they're pretty easy to miss. So no I think they're still doing changes, but just small ones unfortunately, still better than nothing though!

Then why the FUCK does Pizelle act like this 50% evil gremlin and 50% SpongeBob ass fucker??? I dunno, you tell me. This fangame is supposed to be the UnderSwap to Pizza Tower, not the TS! UnderSwap. What are they gonna do to Peppino's bossfight in the final game, make him so anxious he gives up midfight??? I AM THE YAPPER HOLY SHIT
@@PanduDraws Honestly I agree, plus I love how he starts to ready up a punch as the combo meter ends and goes back into the ready stance once it gets reset. It's a nice detail honestly and I prefer it way much more than the standard loop.

Can we talk about how they made mollases swamp the most beautiful and fun level ever. Pizzelle’s moveset is great and the wallkick is unique and fun. Sugary Spire is gonna be something special
Holy shit, I can't put any words how amazing the improvements are, It now feels exactly as good as Pizza Tower, like it was made by Tour De Pizza itself
Even if i liked more the personality of pizzelle from the first demo, the animations are better over all, plus they made molasses swamp actually good so 19/10 (not 20/10 because they gave the cotton transformation a mouth)
I don't know about you guys, but I think the full game of Sugary Spire when it comes out will be better than Pizza Tower. Their art is simply more polished in almost every aspect, their mechanics are super well done and that's just the first floor!

I don't care what any of you think about this game - I think these "talented" people needed to latch on to something like PT just because they couldn't make anything original on their own.
