Holy Crap. I totally forgot about this show. I used to watch this every day after school. Total Nostalgia moment. And lets give it up to my childhood Primary School for bringin home that secret key. South Thornlie represent
All these years later and my reaction to this show is still the same: "Look up! It's right there! Damn it...what are you doing...turn your head! Aaargh..."
The absolute definition of nostalgia...I'm literally getting goosebumps watching this I wanted to be on this show so bad as a kid haha!! Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego...the key run! Life doesn't get better as a kid in Aaaamazing
wait, you got to watch "Where in the world is carmen sandiego?" in Australia? (I'm guessing you mean the game show and not the cartoon version.) I say that because that show was actually aired in the United States.
@@jessewilson1073 i don't think there ever was a version in Australia, or if there was an Australian version of Carmen Sandiego, it must not have been on for very long at all. I know there was a New Zealand version though however. I'm assuming THAT is the version you are talking about?
Man what a show in the 90's. One of the highlights in my life - watched it when I was 6 years old and got my mum to make keys out of paper and hide them for me around the house for me to find. Those kids on the show look like normal kids, as opposed to these days where (not all) but the majority of kids are doing is smoking, drugs, sex facebook and wearing mini skirts. The 90's was the last good generation. Technology will degrade humanity. RIP 90's I miss you so much. And the Super Nintendo :-)
I just spent half my night looking for this show. I couldn't remember the name of it, and the first video I chance across, they actually win the prize. That shit never happened! So much win.
@lolblastumm I recorded eaton vs adam road (i was in eaton) and still have it on video. If anyone can direct me how to transfer it from VHS id be happy to upload what i have as well :) And thankyou!! robhofen for uploading!!! I watched this show almost religiously lol!
I actually remember an episode where the green team took so long to spell 'WHISTLE' in their Time Zone Challenge that there was only 3 seconds left on the clock.
Could you please uplaod the rest of this week as well as the key run if you have it? Really love a*mazing and am so upset they don't show good ol' Aussie Kid's games like this anymore. This one was the best ever. No other game show could ever hold a candle to this one. Love to see more.
I missed the good old days of epic kids shows. Whatever happened to the good old days of kids tv? Back in the early days, we grew up with kids games shows. Sadly these kids games shows were replaced by talk shows in the mornings and reality tv.
Shame they don't make shows like this anymore, kids these days don't know what they've missed out on. I remember watching this show as a kid and always wanting to go through the maze, lol. Also at 12:26, is that car in the maze a Holden Gemini? Our family used to own one when I was a kid, so rad.
@Quicksilver1111 I agree those are major factors as well. What i'm saying about technology is that it is bringing up lots of lazy people. Role models have changed significantly. And like you said it is nowhere more noticeable than the music industry.
Dude, you really have it wrong. In the 90's, when I wanted to watch a video of something awesome from the 80's, I didn't have a UA-cam to go look it up on. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot wrong with this fucking world, but all of the great stuff you're talking about is easier to get a hold of than it ever was back in the day. Hahaha.
A*Mazing Easily The Best Show Ever On TV. Why They Had To Cancel This Show Is A Modern Day Crime, Faking Sick Days At School Just To Watch A*Mazing Running Home From School To Watch It. After Wipeout In 2000 Kids Game Shows Went Down Hill. Who's With Me BRING BACK A*MAZING & BRING BACK JAMES SHERRY AS HOST. NOTHING BEATS THE ORIGINAL
@hoever06 Nah, I think I'm too young to remember him, unless he was on that flashback ep Shelly and Mel were in where they showed when they first appeared?
@Boki7269 Technology does nothing to degrade humanity. People are already messed in the head, the lack of education and decent role models has fucked up everything. Nowhere is this more noticeable than in the music industry. For example, in the 90's, we had "cool" (please understand I use that term in the loosest of sense) people like Hanson who's biggest crime was playing bad music, now we have Lady Gaga who kids look up to and don't realise how depraved and attention seeking these people are.
All these years later and i still remember the sound effects
Ah this is awesome!! I remember yelling at the tv when someone walked straight past a letter.
how i wish i could go back and live these memories again :)
Holy Crap. I totally forgot about this show. I used to watch this every day after school. Total Nostalgia moment. And lets give it up to my childhood Primary School for bringin home that secret key. South Thornlie represent
They need to bring this show back... imagine how awesome the maze would be in this modern era
It would be worse, just like how the production of the WWE used be incredible in the 90's but now it's garbage
All these years later and my reaction to this show is still the same: "Look up! It's right there! Damn it...what are you doing...turn your head! Aaargh..."
I used to watch this show all the time in the 90's. Watching it now brings back memories.
i remember this show!
they had the best set!!
Loved this show back in the day love it now will love it in the future cheers for the episode

I want to run through that obstacle maze so bad.

i used to love this show, never realised how awkward the host was though lol
Oh man, I wanted to be on this show so badly. The maze, mario cart, the ginormous keyboard.
Goddamn I miss these times!
it was my childhood dream to be on this show haha...but really
Was an awesome kids game-show and an awesome host who never had to put on an act for tv!
There is a segment where the kids played Mario Kart... OMG THEY NEED TO BRING THIS SHOW BACK!!!!!!
If you were on this show you are now between 26 and 31...how did we ever get that old?
Deja vu. 2nd time in the computer game challenge it's been Moo Moo Farm on Mario Kart 64 and James referred to Wario as Luigi. hahaha
loved this show....always wanted to be on it
Thanks for the upload, remember Amazing fondly! I don't remember sections of the maze, I think it changed over the course of the show.
4:06 - I never realised that the Donkey Kongs were doing Hear No/Speak No/See No :O
I wanted to be on this show something bad. It was so awesome.
I remeber this show from the obstical course!
I actually have a really good copy of the entire week of these two schools.
Upload it!
why haven't you uploaded it? You've had nine years!
I just spent half my night looking for this show. I couldn't remember the name of it, and the first video I chance across, they actually win the prize. That shit never happened!

I remember that episode!
Notice that, behind the players, is gameplay footage from Mario Kart 64.
Best show. I miss it so much.
This is nostalgia incarnate. Though, i think i may have grown out of this show by the time they moved to N64

HOLY SHIT THANK YOU FOR THE UPLOAD MAN DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE THIS WAS THE FUCKING BEST SHOW EVER MADE
How good was it when recording to VHS when you could hit stop then hit record when the show came back on? Can't do that these days!
South Thornlie & High Wycombe both in Western Australia.
I missed the good old days of epic kids shows. Whatever happened to the good old days of kids tv? Back in the early days, we grew up with kids games shows. Sadly these kids games shows were replaced by talk shows in the mornings and reality tv.
Oh god, I just nostalgia'd all over my screen.

That's sadly what happens when the Australian government does things like cut quotas for locally produced shows. Everything comes from America now.
This was so much better than any of the garbage kids "game shows" that are on TV today
@Quicksilver1111 I agree those are major factors as well. What i'm saying about technology is that it is bringing up lots of lazy people. Role models have changed significantly. And like you said it is nowhere more noticeable than the music industry.
Wonder where these kids are these days, wonder if that girl did become a nurse....
lol James was a riot.
EPIC HOST
@kalamadae I think you can record through a dvd recorder that's connected to your vhs, not to sure though
i think i loved the most is when they played the old SUPER games ;P
South Thornile plays against High Wycombe on this episode of the Australian TV show A*Mazing.
THANK YOU!
Awesome. Don't expect this to stay on too long though, the NFSA likes to remove these.
How did I miss this? ffs
James Sherry... He used to host Saturday Disney when it was good
Miss the old stuff kids shows were the best back in the day
I'll try!!
My home Internet is shaped atm, will try get it up ASAP :)
THE KEY IS IN THE FUCKING LETTERBOX!
IN THE MOTHERFUCKING LETTERBOX
Hahahahahahahhahaa how good was this!
Back in the days lol cheeze tv and Argo cartoon connection as well yeah the best
If he'd only looked up and seen that A they would have won! Damn...
Ah, I remember when they used to show this after Saturday Disney, back when Mel, Tim and Shelley were still around...sigh, those were the days...
Dude, you really have it wrong. In the 90's, when I wanted to watch a video of something awesome from the 80's, I didn't have a UA-cam to go look it up on.

Anyone know how to get Mathew Gibney School?
@lolblastumm i may have 1 more i will look through the tape and upload if i find anything :)
"watch out for the gophers" 😂
the maze looks a lot like pat sharp's fun house and the temple from Legends Of The Hidden Temple.
@mrenk He's also the MC at the MCG as well.
Why they dont make the new one
EPIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone remember the episode where the kids had to guess and type "Todd Woodbridge", failed badly, and had like 10 secs in the maze.
this is fuckin sick
Or if the New show was still sponsored by Nintendo, It would be the Nintendo 3DS

@hoever06 Nah, I think I'm too young to remember him, unless he was on that flashback ep Shelly and Mel were in where they showed when they first appeared?
Maybe he became A Ninja?
what's timezone? a video arcade? (not the round, the place that was mentioned during the players prizes description)
I distinctly remember yelling at the stupid kids who never looked behind the cactus.
Hahaha🤣🤣🤣
do u have season 3 episode 19?
now they'd be giving away iPads instead of gameboys :(
Where is James Sherry now these days?
is "timezone" still in business? (meaning the arcade.)
best show
Word.
@Wheeloffortunefan999 TImezone is still a arcade in big shopping centres
@robthurman1 He is in his mid-late 40's i think.
@jacksoncapper You are aware I was defending technology, right?
@anthem47 LOOK BEHIND THE CACTUS D:
Stack hat.

@ezri85 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Luigi.
Actually that's Wario! Luigi is green! Wario is yellow! Apparently the host is absolutely clueless towards his knowledge of Nintendo Characters.
5:20
ninja? really?
These kids are terrible at Mario Kart.
