Hey Russ, good to know you're on the mend. Pretty wild seeing all that snow--I remember several years ago seeing traffic backed up for miles outside of Kingman after a snowstorm. It'll be cool to see your coverage of the Wrecker Games and find out if Matt and the Crew finally have all the kinks worked out. (It's been looking a little iffy over the last couple weeks) Happy trails!

I was in laughlin during the storm, and they got zero snow. But they did get lotsa rain. 😅

Done that trip to Laughlin. Stayed at a motel there .cannot see motel there now .caught the skimmer boat over to casino .great car museum inside .enjoyable visit .thanks Russ bringing that memory back 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Wondered what happened and if you were ill. Bronchitis can get out of control real fast sometimes. Nothing to mess with. I can understand why you're glad to be back on the road after that Thanks for educating me on that area. Didn't know about AVI. That region keeps growing even though summers are like a blast furnace. I couldn't do it but some just love baking their bones, lol. Wish I was going to matt's event but we'll watch your coverage of it. Cheers!👋

Hey, Russ. Good to see you back. I figured you were taking some time off, but sorry to hear you were ill. Not fun. Glad you're doing better. I was born and raised in Arizona, and enjoy seeing places my family used to visit. I'm now living just north of Dallas, and we've been experiencing some crazy weather as well. Had an ice storm last month that shut everything down for several days. Snow is pretty and fun. Ice not so much. Hopefully one of these years you can venture east. New Mexico is a beautiful state with some amzing scenery, as are parts of Texas as well.

I agree that Laughlin is a much better destination with an RV than Las Vegas proper, and the KOA at Avi Casino a good choice for a place with full hookups. Sorry to hear about that bug you had - didn't sound like much fun to go through. In any case, glad that you're feeling better, and good to hear your voice again on the road!

Yep, I wasn't going to go down to the desert southwest this winter but the snow in the Owens Valley Calif. chased me out. Got to Ehrenberg Az. last Monday. Guess I'll hangout for the month till most of it melts. Nice and empty down here. Liking it.

I lived at Harrah's Hotel and Casino while working on a project in Topac, AZ. So, I made this trip everyday for a year. Thanks for the video! Instead of making that right-hand turn to the Avi and the bridge back into AZ. go straight. Just about to Needles there is a dip in the road that I would take at a high speed. It will throw you up into the air. Supper fun but not too legal I'm afraid.

Just finished watching Matt’s (I follow him also) video when your vid popped up ‘ Going to ‘The Off-road WreckerGames’ , I thought no way. One of the competitors is practically your neighbor and a fellow UA-camr ‘ Merlin’s Old School Garage’ from right there in Havasu City, in case you haven’t watched him. Can’t wait to see your coverage of the event, sounds like it’s turning out to be a big deal.

Hey Russ! Where are the RV parks in Laughlin? Where can someone stay for a length of time in Laughlin besides the KOA? I have tried contacting the Chamber there, but no response. TIA
Riverside Casino has its own RV park right across the street from the casino. Full hookups. If you call the casino, ask to talk to the RV park office.
I had that same chest thing. My doctors called it viral pneumonia. I was in Quartsite and Ehrenberg Feb 1-9. Bad cough etc. dragged myself home to Bay Area. I was out of commission for nearly two weeks. I wondered if it was the Desert fever.
Yeah I got a comment and it's like there then brought that bronchitis is mio and sometimes it was more 10 days I'm laying down cuz I when I was younger always got in winter and spring time in head chords to ain't fun having bronchitis have a good day sir

The G/F spent thanksgiving in Tucson and came home sick with that stuff. She was sick all of December. Urgent care once, True care once and her regular doctors. It was pretty much rest, OTC and let it play out.
It would be fun to meet you, Hurricane isn't that far from us. We could easily meet you there.
The AVI Casino is also where most people start The Mojave Road Trail 4x4 run.
