Hate to burst arrogant Sig’s bubble but, his daughter doesn’t need Sig’s permission to marry. Besides, chain smoking Sig, long time already with the heavy smoker’s hack, will likely never live long enough to see many year’s of his adopted daughter’s married life anyway if he doesn’t put down the cancer sticks and begin doing at least a tiny bit of physical activity!
