Troubleshooting an Electric Tongue Jack, Manual Override and Battery Maintenance
    Hey folks
In this video I want to share my experience with battery maintenance and trouble shooting our electric tongue jack. A few times on the road (campground) I found that our Retro RVs electric jack didn't work and started to use the manual override crank. The day in the video I was expecting to replace the battery due to no battery power in the travel trailer only to find it was simply the connections. I also realized those corroded terminals were responsible for the faulty operation of the tongue jack. I thought, who thinks to due maintenance on a battery?
Watch this video and let me know in the comment section if you've had any similar issues with your RVs battery system. Battery maintenance is definitely an ounce of prevention.
If you have any questions let us know in the comment section. We look forward to hearing from you. Every time we head out camping we're going to record footage to share so you can find the best camp sites and campgrounds for wonderful camping experiences. (and RV maintenance, as issues come up)
    We do this for
    every campground,
    every site,
    every time.
