Very nice gameplay! I am very glad you have started playing with the expansions - it is a completely different game, much more tense and diverse.
I hope you try again with the Witch and also play with the other characters.
I would have made the same decisions in your place. The much hated Crow becomes the only way to avoid landing on the Death Bat in the first room, especially when low on health/potions - in my playthroughs, that is always a death sentence. I would not have used it to get rid of the Wolf.

Yeah, I was already starting to come around on the Crow just after falling down so many times. But now with these strong enemies, I truly see its value. That Rat-Knight looking monster is another one I wouldn't want to face on low health.
