Makes me cry in happiness that no matter what the villains did to michael and kitt. Kitt was indestructible and capable to get out of any situation. Those engineers at knight industries did a great job making a indestructible car. 🖤🙏🏽
I always chuckle when I hear it, but I agree. You can even tell while they were underground Michael face was filled with worry, almost panic with the way his eyes were wide open. There was even some panic in Kitts voice when he said that there wasn't enough oxygen for turbo boost. This has always been one of my favorite scenes and Knight Rider. Pretty intense, especially when I was a kid. This was another one of those close calls for them both. David Hasselhoff is a pretty great actor.
I'd say 3rd best. 1st: Boost from the roof of a building into an apartment in a neighbouring building 2nd: A reverse boost out of a similar situation to the one in this video. Classics.
This scene was definitely one of the finest moments between Michael and K.I.T.T., creating a mixture of suspense, claustrophobia, and urgency. In the brief time they have been working together, they have already established mutual respect and trust with each other. On a side note, I just love that part where Michael deactivated K.I.T.T.'s safety protocols to protect human life by pressing a series of random unlabeled buttons on the overhead console, nice touch! 😉
Davilex released a couple Knight Rider games in the early 2000's for the PC and PlayStation which weren't half bad. They didn't have the original voice actors present, but you do get to drive KITT and participate in Turbo Boosts and Ski Modes.
Also I creat a game that is base on knight rider and back to the future that has kitt from all season including 2008 and knight rider 2000 it also has the flag semi and Goliath
KITT says he isn't dependent on oxygen for survival. However, he's dependent on oxygen to run his internal combustion engine. He could survive without oxygen, but he would be immobile.
Isn't it lucky that Bonnie installed that bit of equipment earlier that episode just before it saved them both??? That some James Bond level of convenience.
