Kinda confused about azir builds, do you always build Landry second? I see some lich bane and am unsure when to build what and why. Also do you ever take hail of blades? Great video!
It's pretty much always gonna be nashors > zhonya/lichbane/dcap/liandry just depending on what you need (defensives, how many tanks, squishies, etc). I don't ever take HoB anymore
Do you use attack move with azir? If so, do you have it bound to a key?
I do, just have attack move click bound to A

Hey I know you’re doing a road to rank 1 series, but Im a mid low dia player looking to play my first tourney in the next 2 weeks. Is there any tips or way you could make a video that could be useful for competitive teams? I think the game is entirely different when it’s a 5 man against other 5 stack but does it only strictly come down to draft then? Or is there still solo q strats viable against 5 stacks?
Plenty of stuff that applies to soloq applies to competitive as well, draft is really important but it's only 40-50% of the game imo. I think if you're in diamond you still want to mainly improve yourself individually rather than hyperfocusing on teamplay stuff
Would you say azir's midgame gameplan is to mostly sidelane and group when objectives are up?
I suppose so, but I think that's more of a mid lane in mid game thing in general. Most mid laners will want to sidelane when they have TP up and then group for objectives, so it's not azir specific imo

What do you think about Lich Bane vs Liandry's as the second item?
Just depends how squishy enemy team is, I tend to default to liandry though

thoughts on double hp scaling runes? it seems rlly op imo
Depends on the champ, I think if you're short ranged and likely to take lots of dmg in teamfights it can be kinda good (say cassio/ryze for example) but I don't think there's much point to it on Azir
oh damn i always just felt it was super nice casue by level 9 i have 200 hp over my opponent, and the 9 ap doesnt do too much early anyways
imo 9 ap can be pretty big pre first base and that can end up snowballing pretty hard, and the hp is only relevant if you actually end up taking the damage
you think it has higher value on azir in low elo? im smurfing in emerald and it feels like it makes 0 difference early cause im so weak anyways

Not a good rule, just depends on your bases/how badly you want the sorc shoes spike. Personally I'm starting to buy them earlier again now
