Ahh yes, the "Hello peasants" view. A couple of years ago, I had to visit nearby St Thomas's hospital for an emergency extraction of a wisdom tooth. Afterwards, I passed the shard, and thought, "Well . . .as I'm here". Tried to get in by approaching a finely turned-out booted and suited guy who was obviously acting as security on the "First-Floor" entrance. He took one look at me in my casuals, with a dribble of blood seeping out the side of my mouth, and immediately took against me - me being having the appearance of an unworthy disshevelled peasant. He then informed me that the peasants entrance to the viewing platform was down at a street- level. And it was closed on the day I attended. Quel dommage !
it's very beautiful, and their christmas tree is also great
Yes, their Christmas tree was nice. There's so much to see that it's great there isn't a time limit when you're up there ⏳❌
