I forgot how brilliant and clever ReBoot was especially with it's writing. Captain Capacitor and the Crimson Binome crew are swashbuckling pirates in cyberspace. Cyber Piracy. Pirates were known for illegal activities such as robberies, attacks, seizes, smuggling, slave trades. Software piracy is illegal and 'piracy' is a word corporations use for copyright infringement. The Pirates of Cyberspace.
I love how they implemented the concept in the show. It is something that couldn't be left out, but they did it all perfectly to boot.
I have a trivia fact I want to share with you Cameron. When the binome fell into the water after Frisket jumps into the yacht. He would not survive. The water that surrounds Mainframe and some other system cities is called The Energy Sea. The Energy Sea is comprised of pure raw energy and is extremely dangerous. And anyone or anything that falls into the sea gets deleted immediately like from the episodes "System Crash" and "End Prog". For example. In the episode "Medusa Bug" when Hack and Slash removes a section of The Gilded Gate Bridge the bridge section falls into the sea and disappears in a flash of energy. The sea also serves as Mainframes energy source and gets funneled into the Systems Operating Core by the Principal Office. In the episode Gigabyte. Dot and Mouse go out to the sea to get a tear to use as a trap. Tears open easily at the sea due to the seas uncontrolled energy. Plus The Energy Seas are a representation of the users computer power supply. If there's no sea then the computer and the city would be dead.
I was hoping you were going to reveal what the symbol is on the front sail of the Saucy Mare. I can never figure it out.
