The entire episode is with them close to being caught and hacking the system... nothing he said was wrong. The only subjective thing he said was "This is the best episode ever", but I'm assuming you're commenting in relation to something else.
The only words that were said were at the beginning “we don’t need to talk”, and at the end “let’s talk” (I know it’s not word for word but I’m not going to look it up just for a comment)
This was a very fun episode. I was really hoping they were gonna pull this episode off without saying a word(only 12 words were said) And it did, Masterpiece of a show
This was one of the most thrilling scenes of this show and I got the same goosebumps I had when I first saw this scene. The score was absolutely on point and the actors were killing it. If only y’all released the soundtrack 🙂
She cleaned the screen on her phone and left it at the gate to collect fingerprints. When she returned to collect the lost phone the only people who would have touched the screen on the phone would be people with clearance throughout the building. This is low level social engineering.
@MrRobot Please clip the segment where they 3D-print the security guard's thumb with Mac Quayle's best track of the series playing in the background, as well as the scene where they're hiding in the mainframe room. Easily my two favourite scenes in the entire series!
While Elliot was creating an user form the admin screen, Darlene could have saved more time by asking questions to the administrator. Anyway, they did a near perfect job.
3:08 the parmenides, a Greek philosopher famous for guestioning whether reality is real, a tiny detail barely on screen yet is actually the kind of thing that makes the world so complete, like the book "no exit" in the fake house in the season opener (though that one gets focused on). Esmail is such a great writer. Literally the only criticism I have of this show is that China annexing the Congo in season 3 is laughably unrealistic and in a world otherwise extremely similar to the real world it's immersion breaking that something so ridiculous happened. I know me the audience can be blamed for choosing not to suspend disbelief there but it sticks out since the show otherwise gets it right. I know some citizens how overtly it wears it's influences like Fight Club and Taxi Driver but I think it's tasteful
The funny thing is annexing the Congo would probably REDUCE the influence China already has on the Congo. China has seized for all intents and purposes 80%+ of Africa, they're even moving Chinese population in to COLONIZE, their word. Just like the US over time slowly seized South America and most of Europe, China has Africa, it's donezo. It's why they control the rare earth minerals so completely right now.
If I remember, the servers at Virtual Realty hosted the bank accounts for Cyprus National Bank, which the Dark Army use to manage their money. Elliot and Darlene are finding a backdoor into the bank to take all of their money
