    I'm going down the same road with a black and white build using a lot of Aliexpress parts, the case prices aren't too bad, it's the shipping that makes it prohibitive. I got an Antec NX200m white case from PC Case Gear for $55

      Nice! Yeah that shipping for cases is killer here in Australia.

    Cpu, gpu, case all are sourced locally, but video says aliexpress pc.
    Misleading title.

      All white not all aliexpress. Also I do say at the start of the video that it's mostly Aliexpress parts but I see you're point

      Yes, U tried to build an all white aliexpress pc, but all major parts are local.

    • @88-bit-tech
      @88-bit-tech  3 місяці тому

      @@nikznp the original gpu was aliexpress. And like I said, title says "all white" not "all aliexpress white". The majority of the parts are still aliexpress; ram, cooler, motherboard, power supply, pwm/argb fan hub controller, wifi 6/bt dongle, and gpu if it had worked. Intro was made before I found out about the artifacting.

    I mean yes and no on this pc imo. Cheap sure. Works ya I mean it does. But you need to understand what this pc is for and not for. You basically have a pc built to play games made in range for maybe 2020.... to older games. You might be able to play less demanding newer games that come out, but that is on what programmers make.
    In the long run you are wasting 300 bucks that won't resell for 300 bucks. Now if your first PC you building. I think it is a great place to start. But at the same time. I would suggest save up more for a older like i9 11900k, 12900k. Or get like 500 bucks and get a cpu, mobo and ram deal from micro center.
    You got almost the entire computer here. Your on board graphics alone will destroy that 580 gpu. Sure you spent a bit more. But you got a pc that will last you longer. I would rather spend 500 bucks for 3 parts. Then 150 bucks on case, psu, fans, aio. You spend 650 for a quick start build pc that will game better then any pc for 300 bucks and will age the next 10 years decent for you don't have to rebuy in 2 years. You can get 10+ out of it.
    I don't see why you would want to have a b450 mobo. You can't even cpu swap upgrade to the You can also over time get parts as you go.
    Maybe you find a great gpu deal to put into here after some quick cash. Why not get a good Mobo, and cpu. This is the entire heart of your pc. I have never once regretted spending on a good mobo and cpu. I have regretted spending on a gpu good one. Because in 2 years another comes out that smokes it out the water so badly you want to upgrade to it. Unlike a cpu, you go ehh this one has 20+ cores and 40 threads. Does it really need more... in 4 years. Nope. You overall make and save more money doing this then dumping on trash 300 dollar nothing.
    There is a reason for the r5 5500 cpu and it isn't gaming. It was design for low end office work and computer tasks to stay up to date with current computer interactions with easy switchable access to businesses. Why it runs on the 450 boards. These lower end chips being used like this is trash.
    I dislike anyone building a pc like this in the first place. Unless you playing only old games. But dude showing cyber punk........... What bro............... it looked like junk on that pc. It looked laggy real bad. I bet it crashes too and has horrible start up.
    Every part you are using is low end and slow. That entire pc going to feel bad to use.
    I suggest you find a good cpu/ mobo combo that has a good on board graphics. These graphics if you compare them to the 580 are beating it out of the water. If you want to use AMD on board then great those ones are betting it out of the water also. I don't know why you would throw almost 400 bucks at a PoS instead of get a good PC for 650.

      Thanks for watching and I appreciate you sharing your perspective but you are factually incorrect on a lot of points. Plenty of data from reliable sources show that the Ryzen 5 5500 is more than capable of 1080p gaming which is what this rig was targeted for. Cyberpunk ran at ultra settings with 90+ average fps. Why would that look terrible? It's quite literally the highest settings without ray tracing. Not to mention I also tested it on Warzone, CS2, Helldivers, and Forza Horizon 5 at high, very high, or Ultra and got 60+ fps average with no crashes, smooth frame time, and no stuttering. I'm not the only one with data to back up the capabilities of this CPU. You are also wrong about inegrated graphics beating out the rx 580 8gb. You'd need to buy, not just a good cpu/mobo combo with "good on board graphics," but a top tier AMD CPU like the AM5 8700G (which is super expensive) and even that igpu is close to the performance of an rx 580 8gb, but still get's beat by it. Also intels best deskop igpu with 14900k currently is the UHD 770 at the top end and they are terrible and fall way behind AMD.
      Also b450 mobo's support all 5000 series AM4 cpu's, so it theoretically has a lot of upgrade options in the future. Tech yes city showed it even works with a 5700x3d and another reviewer used his 5800x3d right out of the box and it worked fine. While yes the board is limited to pcie 3.0, Gamers Nexus showed that it isn't all that bad and you'll only see a 1-3% loss from 4.0 cards so GPU upgrades are also availble. The mobo also supported rebar so cards and games that can utilise it would benefit. I would recommend watching gamer's nexus benchmark test comparing pcie generations as well as other benchmarks with the ryzen 5 5500. The data will speak for itself.
