Next time use a 1/4 inch ratcheting wrench, makes it a ton easier than turning wrench around 30 times.

Does it matter about the brands on oils a shop told me they would advise using anything but factory oils

Why not replace those allen plugs with hex head bolts to help reduce the risk of a future stripping issue?
