9:48 The bossfight was amazing, and it makes going to layer 5 a hole lot more challenging and exciting. Like getting to the elongated passage and traversing the elongated passage is hard enough and this bossfight just makes it sooo much more fun and it takes off stress cuz you have content to play before going to layer 5 and entering the exploration again.
So I took your advice after I forgot about lore game, holy shit so I found the 5 layer and the boss, killed it, found a friend and traveled the waste land. I went from using a axe to having a Mace, full paladin set, drip, skills, and skins. Apsolutly blast of a game, I’m going back to the 5th layer in a bit and find some more stuff there! The game is fucking amazing and it’s so good too,

I love seeing the attention this game is getting, it’s just one of those roblox games where the devs really care about there game. They actually (in my opinion) perfected what a roblox game should be, not a plain cash-grab, but a game that wants it’s own identity. It’s sad seeing devs being inspired by shit games like Yba and gpo, instead of a masterpiece like this game. But the only thing I got to really say is that this game gives off earthbound and dark souls vibes, which I really love.
what is really cool is the dev - is just one guy. iaKuro did all of it himself, except for (i think) one tune in the first release, he's done all the music, art, programing, animation etc himself. 100s of hours, literally. The lore content, got input from Axith (devs brother).

I feel what Lore Game is most lacking is enemies. If I am correct there are only 10 enemies, which make weapons kind of only made for pvp. But other than that I don't know what Lore Game is missing in this starter phase.
Gotta love someone else exploring Lore Game, don't mind those gank squads either, myself being heavily involved in guilds, most guilds won't do toxic stuff like that, and as an artist myself involved heavily in the community, the creativity and artists here are amazing, check them out!

Axith (his bro) helps with some lore story content ideas and I think one tune track from the first release was from another guy. Rest is literally 100s of hours of iaKuro's work.

this game is a mess now. The helmets have been bugged for 2 months, and I swear I'm encountering more and more toxic players or hackers every day. Like the pathway to the dojo has been blocked by players for multiple days now. Every time I get close they just smack me into the void. Not to mention how it only takes two people to stagger lock you to death.
I like the game too, although I kinda cheated for a lot of stuff since I got work and not a lot of free time, I like the combat a lot and the lore is nice. My main gripe is how hard most of the stuff is to find out, some of it is just really random or has 0 hints, all together tho the game is a nice time killer while we wait on deepwoken layer 2 : )
Yeah tbh Lore Game is good. but i have a similar gripe in that you're absolutely forbidden from giving ANY help at all. even just asking what something does or how to get up to a really high place just gets you a big ol "figure it out numbnuts"
Your right that this feels more like a souls game, but rogue is literally roguelike and Deepwoken takes a lot from made abyss with the divers and layers. The games are similar, but completely different.
"developers" yeah there is only like 1 dev who made and worked on this entire game (the community also helped with votes and suggestions and bug reports). Also for that missing Universal item, check back where you got your white lantern, you missed something to click there. For the worrying of being stitched, don't worry about it at all, it's only if your ingame at public places (Bulwark, the hallways, etc) where many players commonly gather at and your obviously leaking important info there. So just make sure if your giving info you feel can get you stitched, do it in private. Though giving hints are fine. Currently there are 2 different problems with secrets, being the big stone door at bulwark and the (Churburg) Code door, with it both being almost impossible to figure out unless you go online, I do hope those get a change. For there being classes, a leveling system and ranged weapons. There are no plans for those, closest to classes is the specific weapon your using and armor set your going for. For a leveling system, that can easily break progression and easily allow high level players beat up low levels, it just wouldn't be balanced and would ruin the fun of actual fair fights even if your new going against a player with powerful armors and weapons. Finally for ranged weapons, just NO, players really don't want anything ranged, too much cheesing and extremely difficult to even dare want to balance, the closest there is to ranged is a special Mace and Shield stance, allowing you to throw your shield but have an extremely long cooldown to ever do it again. (Sorry for this being so long but hope this helps clear some things up)
I understand what you said here! The biggest takeaway from this video is that I just really want a more diverse system to create even more builds with a character and weapons! It'd add some fun things like what can be found in souls-likes where builds can focus on status effects, raw damage, parrying, etc. That's essentially the biggest thing I want regardless of how it may be put into the game because I love to see diversity in games like Lore Game!

But I've played lore game since the earliest days, back before there were names, back when armor was clothes, since there was only 1 rune, being the sword rune, the classics. I can tell you, the game has come a long way since then. An example of course, being the runes. If I had to pick 3 favorite games (on roblox) of all time, it would be Lore Game, Rogue Lineage (OG Rogue, im still firm on that stance), and there isn't really a third but if I had to guess, 2019 booga booga.
Oh yeah, tip for Stitches: When the description refers to "bad sportsmanship" it means being toxic and a generally unlikeable person. I don't remember the last person who got stitched for this, but just know that being a stinky goober will probably end up with you stitched.
I do kind of agree with consumables and temporary weapon buffs, it would be really cool boosting yourself and breaking build temporarly, tho it would be kind of an annoying thing in pvp, i think there should be consumables boosting movement, eyesight and other utility related stats but there shouldnt be pvp affecting temporary boosts, as of ranged weapons they could exist but very rarely and would maybe have a major downside, and as for skill points i think that is already in the game the thing is that it is temporary and u have to do research about races and vitamins, there isnt just a lot of attention payed to food in lore game and races are usually just taken as a cosmetic yet, i know that when i was changing races and trying them out the can fundamentaly change how your combat style works.
To be honest,the game is incredibly amazing and its wayyy better then deepwoken (hate me how yall want deepwoken lovers) the problem is that the game is hard at first,but then its fine,you dont even lag on the game and the game is easy to understand.

Sure it'd ruin the PvP aspect for a new player, but this game doesn't have a lives system like other games its similar to. I agree though that PvP should be as skill-based as possible over progression based PvP in terms of obtaining gear, skills, etc. However, the game already has a bit of that as well. Ultimately, what I'd like for there to be in Lore Game is way more diversity in character builds as well as way more content. I have nothing wrong with the current state of the game but more content could always be nice as more things to do once you've gotten all the in-game quests and obtainable items done you don't really have much to do other than potentially just getting more money, customizing, roleplaying and fighting.
