My absolute favorite part of the whole book was when Sydney and Adrian were on the fence escaping from the compound and Sydney's like "okay you have to do this to get down" and Adrian just falls off the fence HAHAHA I laughed SO HARD during that part! And Sydney's just like "or you can just fall, that's cool". One of my other favorite scenes was of course Angeline taking out the motivational speakers.
I think my favorite part would be when Brayden and Sydney are in the car and are just staring at each other in silence and she just puts her hand out and they shake on it after their date I COULDNT STOP LAUGHING oh and when Adrian used a reference of Les Miserables and he responded "Sparknotes" I didnt know it still existed!!

OMG you are one amazingly fun person! I finished the golden lily today, yep, stayed up all night for 7 hours no-stop reading. REBEL HERE.
i love the part wear adrian and sydney are in adrians house when theres a storm going on outside that shuts off the power 0.0 omg and the candels .. really.. a more perfect setting .. dought it?
omg i thought Eddie had dark hair too and when i read he was blonde i was like 'wait what'. im sure it probably was said in VA at some point but i guess it just bounced off of me idk and with Angeline as well lol. That Lia woman im sure like you said the modeling will probably have consequences but im also kinda suspicious of her, she's a bit too insistent and then using Jill's picture and publishing her face without her permission like what was up with that, she's a minor.

Only 13 days until "The Indigo Spell"! I CANNOT WAIT! I need more Sydney/Adrian! I bet she'll have a mental cliffhanger ending, the ending of the third book of the Vampire Academy was insane!
I absolutely love your personality!!! You are so energetic and so lively!!! I also like your point when you said there would be no sedating a strigoi. I didn't think of that but it's so true!!! I wish you said something about how Adrian made sure Sydney was okay after she was attacked by the warriors of light. (Trey and his cousin and some other dude!) but other words I loved this and all your other videos about vampire academy or the bloodlines series. Love you!!
I literally Cried for an Hour after I read Golden Lily because Adrian is NEVER ALLOWED GOOD THINGS IN LIFE!
I'm having withdrawal symptoms. These book characters are as real as people I actually know!! In fact I think I like these characters better than some people I know... But is it weird I kinda relate to Sydney in the way that I feel rooted to my beliefs? I mean how many of you would in reality trapeze off with an actual vampire? No matter how dreamy his green eyes are....
On another note. I have written Adrian Ivashkov in my notebooks and textbooks so many times u might think he was a real dude I actually had a crush on... Hehe. Who's with me? No? Yeah I'm delusional.
Yeah same here. Rose reminds me of me inwardly but from a real source someone in particular, Dimka someone and am other characters yes. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE. I AM on your boat.
Great talk!! I agree with you in everything, but I would have loved to hear your thoughts about mrs. Terwillger?...and the magic part. also your thoughts on Eddie and Angeline's relationship? and Jill role in that...I thought Jill was a little needy..."oh I like Lee and now he's mine,I like Micah, oh I like eddie."so excited for Indigo Spell, and I think that Sydney is going to be in the reeducation center..and Adrian will bust her out like a boss.YAY SIDRIAN!! really want more Rose and Dimitri.

I hope at the end of the series that sydney and adrian share the most passionate scene i have ever seen or read in a book, that on long loving kiss that gets us all transfixed, that one kiss that shows the love between the two ... telling the two that they love each other. That one kiss that makes everything disapear ... my gosh i dream alot.
I am pretty sure that Richelle Mead said that there will be 6 books just like Vampire Academy! :) SO EXCITED for Indigo Spell!!!!!
Best parts = Adrian defending Sydney (the whole giving blood part) and the Slushies :) Book went by so fast and february is too far away D: might hafto re-read Vampire Academy to pass the time. Loved the video :) x

Totes agree with Eddie having dark hair. I loved when Jill/ Adrian loving Sydney thing it was hilarious. I also loved how Sydney used Slushees to make Adrian feel better it was cute. I had to admit that I actually thought that Adrian didn't know how to drive stick. Lia seems so suss!
The indigo spell... comes out in less then a month... OMG OMG OMG I preordered that a long time ago... the feels!!! O_O Thanks for reviewing the vampire academy and bloodline series... and I remembered reading not that long ago that bloodlines will have 6 books like VA and that the 4th book, The Fiery Heart is done!!!! O_O OH GOSH!

I love your reviews, you always has so much energy :) I loved this book. I feel the exact same way about the characters being friends that are fun to spend time with. I cant wait for the next one. The ending was so frustrating, but like you said Sydney needs to break down her alchemist views before she can be happy with Adrian. I'm really excited to find out more about Marcus and what happened to him.

I love how all the way through the book almost every character hints to sydney that adrian likes her. And she doesnt pick it up once. I love it but its freaking annoying at the same time!!

There are 6-8 books in the series. However, I hate when I'm reading, I get into it, it ends and I'm like..... What do I do with my life now?

You didn't mention that Trey was a warrior of light!!! I think Sydney I'd going to find a way out of the alchemists soon. She will find Marcus and figure out how to get out. And then she can be with Adrian :)

Right now there is supposedly going to be 6 books in the bloodline series! :) The 3rd book is called The Indigo Spell!!!! Eeeep!! :D You should go on goodreads! They have a ton of info on books :)

This book made me love Sydney so much more. I love the thought of her an Adrian together- I loved his speech at the end where he was like 'you make me want to be a better person!' So cute. And I imagined the characters all wrong to... Especially Sonya. I imagined her fat which is stupid considering she's Moroi. But I really hope Sydney breaks from the alchemists. She should become a bad-ass witch. But yeah, loved the book.
Omg doesn't Rebekah Mikaelson from Vampire Diaries look just how you imagined Sydney?? I think Sydney will get sent to a re-education center eventually. And I'm pretty sure Sonya's wedding will take place in The Indigo Spell, which will be awesome!!!! Because the whole gang will be reunited with Rose and Dimitri and Christian :D
9 years later lmao I also always pictured Eddie with dark hair and I cannot picture him without dark hair, and I picture angeline with dark auburn hair thats curly and wild.
This was soo much better then the first book!
I loved the Golden Lily! My favorite part was the pool scene. I think the indigo spell is going to have more to do with the re-education center, because they just keep saying stuff about it but nothing about what it is. She's probably going to have a falling out with the alchemist in the next book.
in the last sacrifice, she's the one who kept Jills a secret, she knew about Jill from the start ... i think thats right, i cant remember ...
there are going to be six books!!! she has said if you go to her blog or search for interviews.
Hey you say exactly what I'm thinking . I love Rachel mead's books . At times I think there predictable, and at others I'm completely blind-sided . I love the vampire academy and blood lines series . I also loved when Sidney finally uses magic, and when she finally kisses Adrian . When I discovered your channel it was exactly what I was looking for . I also watch your videos right after I finished the books . I rush to hear what you have to say . PLEASE MARRY ME ! Ps we have the same floor tiles

I just finished The Ruby Circle and I have found myself in a mourning period. I picked up The Sin Eater's Daughter for a quick read and got 100 pages in. My head was just constantly thinking about Sydney and Adrian. So I took to Goodreads and found out that this book is the first in a series and is very emotional. Great. Then I took to booktalks...
Personally I don't really have a specific way of deciding what to buy it on. Just if it is in the shop and I want it I'll buy it. If I have the money and I see it on amazon I'll buy it for my kindle. If I really really love a book that I read on my Kindle, I will have to go out and buy the physical copy.
i LOVE how you say dhampirs with a D cuz thats how i have said it since i read the first vampire academy book and i am not changing my ways now ;)

I can't answer for her on her other books, but in her Bloodlines book talk (which I know you probably haven't seen as you aren't finished VA yet) she said that she read all of the Vampire Academy books on her iPad so she wants to keep going with that for the rest of them :) I don't know if that really answers your question.

There are going to be 6 books in the Bloodlines series, if you haven't found out by now (you probably have but oh well). And if you want proof (just in case) go to Richelle Mead's website and the click on FAQ's and then the link: How many books will be in each series.

Oh my Buddha! I recently found another book series you should check out! The Chronicles of Vladimir Todd. I don't know if you've read them, but if you haven't, you should. I just finished the second one and... WOW! Just wow! Really cool. :)

I love watching your book talks... you have so much energy! I've only read up to Book 4 in the VA series, so I stopped listening when you said. I just had a question... how do you determine if you want to buy the book vs getting it on your ipad? I started out like my ereader but then I started missing the physical book. So, I was just wondering how others feel/decide.

Those warriors of light couldn't even take on Dimitri. When they ambushed Sydney and Sonya there were like 10 of them and they couldn't take on dhampir Dimitri if they'd gone after him when he was a Strigoi they would have died. They were so stupid I almost cried.
omg. i literally just finished the book. and i wanna scream such a horrible ending. i was like adrain u cant let her go i was like u gotta go after her. ugh. but such a great book cant wait till the next one.
