I have a 144 hz monitor and Im getting 60 fps my pc is high end like it has rtx 2080 I cant play on 60 fps it looks like its lagging any ideas how to set the cap to 144 or off it?
In this game you can't chance that. It's hard locked to 62 fps. I was using a 120Hz monitor at the time of testing with vsync off. But it was years ago
+justadrummervienna I agree with that but if you had a monitor that's able to display more - why wouldn't you use it? Because some idiot at these game studios doesn't allow you to use your hardware's capacity and artificially caps the maximum FPS - that's why.
I don't get why this is the only AC game that's locked to 60 fps it would look so much better if it was smoother
ac2 also locked at 60. Mb first one too.
AC2 is, AC1 worked unlocked for me, not sure if it was the dx10 version

You can set 144hz in ini settings but the fps cap at 62 will stay
i love this game but i dont play it because of the cap. Its insane, a 60fps lock 2021,
