Hands down, the most beautiful and touching Star Wars vid I've ever seen. I love this show so much - thank you for making such a perfect tribute for its end.
Oh my gosh. I don’t even know how to express what a masterpiece this is! The rustic/charcoal style of the art mimics the LOTR end credits/Hobbit credits so well! In general it suits the darker theme of TBB perfectly! The scenes you chose to go with the lyrics are perfection! 0:37 Love the symbolism! And don’t get me started on the characters themselves. I don’t know if it was the feel you were going for, but they have such a somber yet “at-peace” look to them. It’s a beautiful portrayal to the ending of a darker show such as TBB. I was so happy to see side character Clones like Wilco, Cade, and Slip included in this, somehow feels like they have less of a chance of being forgotten. The last scene being the first time we saw TBB in Clone Wars is just the cherry on top. I’m amazed and impressed at the time and effort it must’ve taken you to create this masterpiece! 👏 Pardon the long comment, but I can’t get over how beautiful this is.
This means so much, thank you! It took a long time to plan out, so it’s really cool when people pick up on that sort of stuff. I ended up listening to a bunch of the LOTR and TBB soundtracks while drawing to get in the “zone” and try to capture the right mood… so I’m glad the somber/bittersweet/peaceful expressions came through. It’s a dark time in the Star War’s universe/history. And, no worries about the length of the comment - I really appreciate you taking the time!!

Your art style is so beautiful! I like how, of all the character shots, the one who doesn’t have a name is CX-2. Even though CX-2 wasn’t anyone we knew, by not using the name, it’s like you’re acknowledging that CX-2 was someone before being forced into the CX program. I’m reading way too much into this aren’t I?
I was thinking the same thing! It felt right (more respectful in a way?) to not call him CX-2 here and to leave him unnamed since his identity was previously wiped. As soon as I watched the finale, I knew someone needed to do a tribute to the series to “The Last Goodbye”, and your Hobbit/LOTR-style rendition was absolutely beautiful. There was no better end to a series such as this.

It has made me sad to see the show has ended, and now seem them older. But yet there were some conclusions not finished. So I felt like maybe there could have added a little bit more. And that they also finished scorch off and we don't know what happened to Cody or the other clones like rex, howzer, wolffe. Great job!
Same here! I was devastated about Scorch. I know they totally changed his character for TBB and he wasn’t like his old self from RC/Legends but still… ouch. And I need a whole show devoted to Rex’s batch with Echo, Howzer, and Gregor. I want to know what happens to Cody and see how Wolffe joins up with Rex to bridge the gap between TBB and SW Rebels!
I’ve watched this vid a number of times (the same song is used for The Lord of the Rings). But I always stopped when the song ended. Only recently did I let it run to the end and discovered Tech and his comment-which is so “obviously” Tech. Great job on this project. Makes me wish the show had lasted longer. 😌

@@blackh9604 Aw man it’s hard to pick favorites. I love Wrecker’s rough exterior and big heart. Echo is awesome and his desire to do the right thing is so strong. Crosshair really grew on me during s.3 and his humor is great. I could go on… Basically all the clones. Rex. Mayday… ooof. But I also like a good villain like Hemlock (and dare I say Rampart cracked me up in these last few episodes?). That was long-winded, but yeah. Your favorites?
Haha I can relate to liking pretty much any clone! I agree with all your picks. I also really liked Mayday, he had hell of an impact. Emerie and Omega really grew on me with their character development! For non-clones, Rampart in season 1 and 2 was actually awesome, he felt very self-serving and it was scary to cross him (as he had operatives working for him and everything!) He was also HILARIOUS in season 3. So imma go with him lol. Also, weirdly enough, Romar from S2E2. Idk why but I rewatch that episode constantly. And also, Tawni Ames from S2E3. It was just cool getting to see a bit more of the "Seperatist" perspective and how they view the world. Sorry for the wall of text. Idk anyone irl that watches this show LMAOO
@blackh9604 I almost forgot about Romar. He was so kind and helped especially Tech see Serenno from a different perspective - not just through the lens/label of it as a “‘Separatist planet.” Whenever we meet characters like him it really feels like there are so many preexisting stories/histories we only get glimpses of. I guess that’s one (of many) reasons why I love Star Wars. The world building (or galaxy building?) makes it feel “lived in” and complex. Well, that’s my addition to the wall of text (no apologies necessary lol). Always happy to discuss with a fellow fan!
