fantastic ! i really enjoyed learning about how to connect a brushless motor to a battery thank you for a clear and detailed explanation and demonstration. The 36v batteries for my Lawnmower are dead and no longer available but I have some good 36v Bosch batteries which I am hoping I can use instead. This might be the solution thank you
Is the hall sensor suitable for all wiring methods? Y, delta, 6 poll, 9 poll.. ect. If I want to add hall sensor to any motor, do I just need to put it in or do I have to follow some rule?
Hall sensors are suitable for all wiring methods. If you are replacing hall sensors, you would want to make sure that they are compatible with the current ones because not all hall sensors are rated or function the same way. Thanks!
Hello friend, maybe you explained it in the video but I don't understand English correctly, so what is the difference between these two plates, blue and green, that are sold on Aliexpress, for example? Thank you
The controller might not operate on 24V. But if you want the run a 48V on the 24v bldc motor, you can, but eventually you will ruin the motor because the motor is rated for 24v. Thanks!
I was thinking about using the 16-22 size crimp on bullet connectors for my 6 hall sensor wires. Then I could just plug and unplug them. (For testing) Do you think that is a good idea ?
Hey, great video! I'm using one of these sensorless controllers on a 87v Samsung washing machine motor running off a 20v power tool battery, it works great but only getting about 300rpm (waiting on tachometer to test exactly), I tried running 2 battereies in seriess (40v) just to test if it would dramatically increase RPM but it only went from 3w (0.15a) max to 4w (0.1a). Other than the motors being designed for 87w can you think of anything that would be causing such low RPM? I also tried a small pump motor on 20v and that also capped out at 3w. Any ideas??
The driver is rated for 15A so it should be okay. However, of you are planning on running 15A, I would go with controllers with higher amperage ratings, maybe 20A to 30A instead of pushing it to the limit.
Hi, greetings from the philippines.new subs here. I just wanna ask if i have to connect the potentiometer in order to start the motor?..i already connect all the wires including the hall signal except for the SET
How would you control the speed of motor without it? You would have to test the set up with or without it to see if it works. I recommend placing a switch between the battery and the controller.
Hi ...great video ...question please ...did this controller can runnig ebike or any electric vehicule without problem and for long life ...did this kind of controller is a best choix .. frome your experience ..what is the number that you can give to it ..frome 1 to 10 ....thank you so much
Hello, I use the controllers for experiments only, very low load. I never used them on an e-bike. I recommend using e-bike specific controllers and not these for e-bikes.
your channel quickly become my favorite channel in youtube. thank you so much for the vidoes. god bless you my dear friend.
Thank you!
Hi and thx for your sharing
please how to use the signal cable for the controller without hall please

How do you factor in the weight of the person and create the max speed while having a safe system that is not heat up.?
Can I use the sensored one for electric skateboard purpose having 24-36v bldc motor?
hello, hello, using the hall sensor can it used to meassure and read the current rpm when the motor is run ?
I used the proximity switch sensor to measure the rpm of the motor. Thanks!

tnx for sharing your knowledge..i have a question, can i use a 48v bldc controller to running a 24v bldc motor?
tnx

hello , which connection slot in the sensorless pcb is used for the potentiometer? the 3 wire, other than the positive and negative?

That’s a great idea 👍

I would think increasing the voltage level would increase the rpm. Hard to tell from here why it would not increase the rpm.
you need a pair of snap ring pliers. Channel Locks makes a good pair that are reversible.
Thank you!
My bldc from a lawnmower only has three wires, it doesn't have the little ones. I wonder why?
Thanks!
the little ones are the sensor
probably your bldc motor is a sensorless type bldc motor
What happen if you put a battery of 36v and 15amp?? The driver support this energy??
The driver is rated for 15A so it should be okay. However, of you are planning on running 15A, I would go with controllers with higher amperage ratings, maybe 20A to 30A instead of pushing it to the limit.
Hi I have a setup that’s not working, would u be able to help do u think
Is there the same amount of volts at the output as at the input?
If you press the switch that changes from forward rotation to reverse rotation while the motor is moving, does it work without problems?
not recommended to do that while running. may cause problems
quiero un kit de esos para un proyecto, saludos desde perú

@@diypotentials i already tried it.doesnt work..i intend to use it to start a motorcycle..are you familiar with the ACG starter motor?..
@@dockatok9470 So sorry, I’m not familiar with ACG motors. I’m sure you will figure it out soon.
will a sensorless motor work with a sensored esc?
Can a sensorless BLDC motor used for borewell pumbing
Nice job 👍
Thank you!!!
which two is better
Hello,
I have a setup that is not working for some reason, can I share some pictures so you can help guide to what the issue might be
Sure, I might be able to look at it tonight.
How do you control a brushless motor with a joystick, forward and reverse with an ebike controller??
谢谢老师视频分享👍♥️👈
Can I consult to you about throttle grip sensor?
Please link to buy the controller?
how many ohms is the rpm potmeter?
Can you hook up RC equipment to this board ?
Hello, I don't know enough about RC to answer your question. Very interesting question, though. Thanks!
Thanx.
Hello I need to help I have a holl sensor model how to work without sensor because my brushless motor no have sensor please help me
Very good!!
Thank you!
can i use a throtltle instead of a potentiometer?
It should work in theory.
Where did you buy that heatsink?
You can find them on Amazon...Thanks!
@@diypotentials how do I find the right size with the screw holes?
Back BMF? You mean back EMF (electro motive force)
Do you have diagram on (SET) ?
I provided the wiring info below the video description. Thanks!
how to drive a 120v brushless dc motor?
haiii..i buy sensord board..how to wiring without sensor wire..i want to repairing my cordless brushless motor only
Where did you buy this motor?
The link to the motor is below the video description…thanks!
