Thank you for this. Just tore down my LT M4 to see if the safety was as ambidextrous as it looked. It isn't. The selector mates with part of the gearbox, and even if the fire selector on the frame can be moved it would not mate up with the gearbox controller any more.
In any case, good tutorial, it's easier than I imagined.

I bought a really advanced Gel blaster and couldn’t find any way to assemble the stock (I didn’t know where to put the screw(1:38). I still don’t but this gives me an Idea. FYI the manual is in Chinese🤣

Great tutorial, straight to the point, but how do i know which way to push the pins on my gearbox?
I'm. Guessing you mean the small body pin. Easiest way is tap it a tiny bit to see if the end coming out has the barbed end or is smooth. If its smooth you need to hit it from the other end. Does that make sense?

Don't know if you're still replying but my motor isn't pulling out of the grip as it seems to be connected to something else. The gun was given to me by a friend of mine a few years back. It says black ops and that's about it, it definitely seems to be older. It's a front wired AEG if that helps 🙂
Give the pistol grip a hit on the sides. Some times the motors get stuck in the holes at the end of the grip

@@UpmostCake if that didn't work try pulling the motor while moving it side to side. It may be binding on the gears try a little bit of force and it should pop out

Mine is just a bolt to put in half, in my 2 years of owning it ive never been able to take them out

Great tutorial but what about the other part how do you remove the rail!!!
If you need to remove the front rail, first pull down on the Delta ring to unclip the quad rail that splits in half. If you want to replace the hand guard with a free floating rail you will have to take off the A frame by knocking out the retention pins before sliding it off the other barrel and then remove the Delta ring with an armourers tool. Hope that helps you

How do i reattach the slide?... i accidentally pulled it out while pulling the inner barrel out

I can't get the gearbox out because their is no screw on the mag release
dude im brand new to this stuff and was fiddiling with the motor adjustment screw not knowing thats what it was and i thought i just completely wrecked my brand new gun

Now why tf can’t I get the tube off. Can never get the screw driver in and top of that had to get a specialized head to unlock it
I may or may not have accidentally finagled with the motor adjustment on my M4…I’m a new player and I had a no idea what it was at first. Now I believe it is also what is causing my gun to not fire. How do I reset it back to normal?
Back the screw off half a turn and try pulling the trigger. Keep doing that until it starts to work again. However if you have taken the screw all the way out then instead of backing it off tighten half a turn and try

ok, so i followed the directions on the vid but the gearbox still doesn't go out even though i removed the pin and screw i also put in the fire selector on the right way but still it doesn't come out. Any ideas??? Thanks
If you haven’t solved it yet, did you remove the mag realese?
The little rubber piece at the end of the barrel is facing the wrong way, any ideas
Do you mean in the hop unit?
Do you know if removing the upper from the lower to clean the inter barrel Will void the warranty
I would say no as its normally the gearbox that has the warrenty sticker on however to clean your inner barrel you don't need to remove it to clean it (unless your doing a deep clean)

Great video! I bought a ripcord m4 and I seem to be having issues with feeding or I’m not sure. The mag is full and primed battery charged and it shoots sporadically. Any help would me most welcome. 🍻

Having trouble disconnecting the battery wires from the motor to get it out of the pistol grip, would help if I knew how they were attached.
They are compression fitted. Unles someone has soldered them on they should just pull off
I did everything but for reason it just won’t come out? I put it between safety and semi but it just stuck that that park

My front body pin is stuck when i try unscrew the bolt the pin moves and i cant unscrew that bolt
um... so i was gonna disassemble my M4 and i just can't because i can't unscrew any of my pins
the front one just doesn't move at all and the rear one turns indefinitely :(
What kind of screw was that to keep the stock in place?

What size is the screw to disassemble the top and bottom receiver
Okay so if I don't want to push it the wrong way which way am I supposed to push it?!
Look for an end with serations on the end of the pin. That end you don't want to push through the gearbox. If your unsure push it one way just a little to check. If it's showing snooth on the pin push it the other way.
mine almost looks like if it was made so you can't take it apart... Damn you C-TAC
Not had my hands on one but from what I have seen on UA-cam they should strip down
I finally got it stripped down, screws and bolts were just really tight lpl
Hey I have a fuse on the positive are that goes through the buffer tube and I was planning on doing some work on my gearbox but I wasn’t sure if I can take apart the connections between the gearbox and the battery plug without having to use any soldering. I’m sure I can find some shrink wrap at the vary least but I’m not too competent with my soldering skills. Thanks for the help
Depending on the fuse you have you can just pull the connectors off(if it's a round glass fuse)

So i have a qustion so in the box that my gun came in it a starter kit so her a round nut that is funny trying to figure what it goes to it fully stock and metal

Dude idk if my gun was designed for the gearbox not to be removed or sumthin, but once I get it down to the step of having just the gearbox and lower receiver, my gearbox will not come out, I apply a bit of force and it just doesn't, like how did you get it in in the first place?!
Check all the bolts are out and see if the fake bolt catch has a long bar on it as sometimes that stops the gearbox moving if it's still in. If they are all out try pulling the gearbox forward and then up
My airsoft the same like yours Something inside broke pump maybe
That would require going into the gearbox to truly see what is going on

@@Akasei0 That is the easy option. or you can open it up and see if you are able to fix it but only do that if you are confident in doing it. there are a lot off things that like to go "PING" when you open it.

On my m4 my rear body pin is a screw and the other side of it just keeps spinning so I can’t unscrew it
You need to try and grip the other end with some pliers. It's a pig to do as it will slip sometimes but it works
Small body pin above the trigger - do you have to turn the chassis over and knock it out from the other side?
You need to have a close look and see what side the barbs are on and knock it through from the opposite side so you don't force the barbs through the gearbox

I cant seem to get my upper off my lower. I have a cyma cm.002, and the upper gets stuck after a quarter inch or so. Help?
Question: Does pulling out your inner barrel to clean it void the warranty? What part voids the warranty
Removing the inner barrel for cleaning should be fine, it's when you start removing the gearbox and motor from the body you get into the grey area of voiding the warrenty

I’m trying to take apart my aeg but the hexagon screw in the mag release stripped and I was wondering if there is any way around that?
You can either drill out the head but you will need to find a new screw after to replace it or take a slightly larger flat head screwdriver and gently hammer it in to make a new grove to try and turn it with that. These screws are made out of cheap metal so its very easy to strip them.
Great video, I have the lancer tactical MK18 an my plastic air nozzle broke. Will I need to completely disassemble my gun like this to replace it with the standard metal one?
yes you will have to go into the gearbox to change the air nozzle. make sure you get the correct length or you will have feeding/air seal problems

@@quadracer6578 standard M4 air nozzles are 21.4 mm so that should be what you need

i got one of these off a mate nothing fires no idea where the battery goes but the motor screw was out? Is that bad I put it back on
If you mean the motor height screw as long as its not all the way in it should be OK but you won't know until you try to fire it
