It's weird that We Africans mostly obsessed by other people problems ignoring our own. People continue to die in Dafur, Sudan, Ethiopia, you still find African leaders and subjects only speak and support either of the twi sides of middle east conflicts.
And Kenya will receive funds and it won't help even a quarter of the affected people

Although it's not at the equator, its still very near to it, far from where tropical cyclones usually occur, a quite anomalous storm
There's is minimal chance. That doesn't mean its 100% shielded from cyclones.
