Useful hack for everyone - Go unlock fireflies lvl 5 point on the left. It gives 2 points for firefly instead of 1 light. It adds up. Last number 3200 is actually 1600 lights to catch not 3200. It splits in half all other lvls to get and brings you back to experience from before update. No wonder SSO changed it. If it would stay 1500 for last lvl things, with this hack unlocked it would be just 750 fireflies to unlock highest lvl. It's too low.
A reddit post was made and according to them it is glitched so hopefully they will be fixed soon. I swear anytime sso "fixes" something they break sonething else.
I really don’t mind the price change at all, but I do mind that they also made the actual Games and Content less frequent. (rune carving mostly lol) I would rather do a lot of fun puzzles, for a small amount of light, than spending 20-30 minutes running around just trying to find One. Same effect, but one is way more fun than the other.
I am holding out that the rune carvings are just a mistake and they will fix it in a few days. Agree it would be easier if we got all the activities like we were before for update.
@@Goulaash Someone on Reddit said they emailed about it and got a reply from them saying it is a glitch and they are working on it, so hopefully soon, fingers crossed!
It's the fact that they changed the price AFTEr releasing, 100%. I'm a grinder myself. I personally had completely everything before the price change, and I'm still angry. Because at the end of the day, SSO dangled reasonable prices in their player base's faces just to rip it away and double/triple/more than triple prices without warning. What does that say about other aspects of the game where they've just recklessly done the same? Like when they asked for feedback on the Jorvik Friesians/Fuglies only to take nothing into considering and spit in our faces? Or when they continually disregard player feedback and requests to pump out things most people don't want? It just screams money-hungry company, even if I completely understand the action itself. I just wish it had been changed either before the levels were unlocked (so everyone would be on the same level playing field) or would have come out originally with those prices set...
Also (and unrelated) I'm still so salty that the BLACK FRIDAY BAZAAR was just...magic horses. I personally despise every magic horse (Laverna is the only one I respect and it's 100% for her "normal" coat) so this, especially to me, felt like them throwing out their second-rate horses for a discount so they could technically look good while ensuring most of the player's money would still be spent elsewhere. The tack/sets "on sale" too were abysmal. It was a little bit insulting, tbh. I would have KILLED to get some of the updated/newer breeds on sale instead of the uggo magic horses or a mix of half and half. Anything but JUST the magic horses I've despise since seeing them, haha
Honestly i kinda wish they added smth simple that would make plp grind, instead of rising up the needed lights to unlock new levels. It could've been clothes for like 2000-3000 light each. It would be better if they didn't do anything till January, compared to this tbh. Oh also in the future it would be cool if we got runestone like horses where we had to grind our way towards them, smth like 300k-500k light idk. (It might sound a lot, but it's sso... For the druid horse we had to collect 120k points here it would 100% more 😭) Edit: or stuff that for a certain period of time will help us with something, like with training, mybe archeology, mybw it could make us faster and stuff.
I agree with your point about the rewards not being worth the grind. The tack and clothes costing starcoins is weird and not worth it to me. Basically the pets are the only thing worth grinding for, for me at least. I probably won't max out the motherstone, because there isn't a reason for me to. I have no problem with content running around collecting fireflies, running through leaf piles, and the puzzles are all nice active things.
I wrote a comment earlier but YT just decided not to post it so let me write it again: regarding the original Birch- and Sakurahorses, Star Stable had a contract with a company about those two. They will not be coming back because the contract has ran out and by bringing them back Star Stable would commit a crime. Since they were so popular though, what did Star Stable do? Correct, they "copied" them and replaced them with at that time unpopular breeds so that people would buy them due to the coloring. I am no fan of magical horses all in all, the colors are just too much for me. The same thing happened here also with Petra, the other rock and the fall-horses: they weren't popular so they're getting shoved into our faces as "special" and/or "new". We can totally expect the copied versions of the tree-horses as the horses connected with the path of Terra, unless Star Stable decided to create a totally new breed - but I have a rough feeling that's too much work for too little reward for the company - wait a second, too much work for too little reward? I've seen that before.
This is actually false, someone had commented years ago about why they never came back and SSO replied that they had full rights to the horses, the only reason they aren't coming back is because SSO said so. Which makes no sense considering their track record on going back on their word. 🤷♀️ It is also why I am still so salty about them not bringing them back, they said the same about Umbra and Ayla than brought them back and continued to return magic horses. Might be due to the fact they are on Lusitanos and they are considered older but still. As for the replacements, a downgrade in my opinion just made for money cause players were begging for the other two, no real love was put into them.
I also feel like they didn't release horses that were relevant (fish horses) for the bazaar. They should have put out (all) the tree horses for discounts (I'm a sucker for the non-magic ver of the Percheron🫣) Just hoping they put those out, but will most likely not.
I’m so glad I finished this the night before. Buut that leaves terra. I’m glad I’m not the only one who kinda thought that we should get a horse at the end, especially due to them being the not so well loved ones. I have the blue one of the haflingers but doing the quest in my own way I liked the orange one more. I just kept running into it and kinda enjoyed it. Was disappointed but I shouldn’t have had my hopes up 😒
This sucks! I've been playing and really enjoying but haven't had the time recently... I think I'll still enjoy the main mechanics, but man what a bummer. I already take my time with this stuff, so this is basically confirming that I'll probably never get the free rewards. Also semi agree with you on the horses. I hate the leaf ones, but love the stone ones. I am a degenerate hanami and birkir lover, but I don't want them to be offered cause I got them both right when they came out! Besides, I think it would be more fun to have the horse offered be out of left field. It would show that druids and magic horses are broadly connected, which I think would be cool. Otherwise, if they have to be related, are they gonna come out with new paths for every single magic horse theme? I dare them to do the path of drowning for Sorrowsworn XD
They were doing so good than they messed it up 😭 As for Hanami and Birkir 👀 they definitely fit the theme for Path of Terra being earth so I can see them being discounted when it comes out as a high possibility. But an underwater race sound so fun no lie!
