Hello Lisa, you have shared a lot of squash variety that I have never seen. The heat broke for us today. July, 22, 2019. Hopefully you get some relief soon. 💕NonnaGrace
Just join your channel, I totally agree about the zucchini lol. I am from West Tennessee zone 7 a . I have a few more project to finish in my home , I am ready to planting in my garden . Have a wonderful day. I will try the different zucchini and squash .
We just got over a heat wave and are bracing for another 😓 My brussels sprouts are sunburned! I'm hoping to get some shade cloth this week. Last year our chickens destroyed them so it seems to not be working out for me this year either lol. Those squash look really yummy. I love zucchini and will give these a try. Thanks! Hope it cools off for you all soon.
Hello Lisa! Yes, I understand the feeling of excitement than overwhelming with zucchini. I am trying to branch out with different varieties but the weather has been taxing. I did grow scalloped yellow squash which I think I like it fried the best. Thanks for inspiration on some new squash and to keep it going longer without boredom. The squash bugs are horrible as usual. I'm doing my best. Tried your pest control minus homemade garlic/onion concoction. Hope to make some of that soon to cure for next year(if I don't forget). Love and prayers ❤
We've grown the Ronde zucchini a few times and used it like stuffed peppers, I liked it even better because it was so easy to eat! My favorite summer squash isn't very unusual, it's good old Yellow Crookneck Squash! Hope your heat breaks, ours FINALLY did today
K that video totally worked for me! I'm sold on the idea of branching out of the ordinary :) I would love to learn good ways to pressure them. I can dry them I know that but I heard that I could pickle them too. Have you tried?
I personally do not care for them dehydrated. I have not pickles them but I bet that's good! We shred and freeze. Or make cinnamon pickles and can them...and we love them canned as mock pineapple. I'm so glad it inspired you!!
Wow! Never heard of them pickled like that. I have only ever frozen them. I need freezer room and am trying to expand my preserving skills. Have a great week!!! And great video :)
I got a recipe from another youtuber using zucchini for pineapple and she said you can not tell the difference. If you like I will send you the recipe.
Beautiful 😍❤️👍🤝📺

😂😂😂 “ it’s the only day this week I’m going to be clean, I better make a UA-cam video” The mantra of youtubers everywhere.
I'm new to your channel. I love the pics in your intro video. Looks like an awesome place to live.

Gail Reese , my mother in law used to make this. It does taste like pineapple 😊
My sugar snaps are off the hook, everything is struggling right now
