David is bold and brave as he triumphs over his enemies. He is a partner with God, and therefore he has nothing to fear. David's mindset toward his enemies can be our mindset toward the enemy of our souls. Instead of being beaten down and overwhelmed by the battle against evil, we can live in a culture of victory and overcoming. We can overcome just as Jesus overcome because Jesus had no advantage over us when it came to gaining the victory over sin.
