Just saw these guys a few hours ago in Nashville with Deftones. I knew this band was "special", but I'm still blown away. Beyond words describes what I saw. And their rhythm section was flawless. When this was played, everybody in the building flipped their wig. It was tremendous. Welcome to my all time favorite bands list Gojira. ✌🧡🐓

Hello Urmie, with all do respect, I have not heard of Gorjira since 6 weeks ago, I found them on a legal mp3 site, and purchased them after sampling the new and seeing their official youtube videoss both video and concert footage. so impressed was I, that when I checked out their home page , found they will play within an hour and a half away, and bought tickets asap. awesome! found other great bands from outside the u.s.a. ever heard of dimlight. bliksem, semblant, moonsplee? all unknown to me 2 yrs ago, some well known, some somewhat known, some just finally cutting their teeth, but all are great at this time, I assure you. I am excited to see Gojjira, but I wish I could see the rest, all great in their own way! Rock on my friend!

I'd say the line "No blood in me but mine" is better. Not as cliche, but has a very clear message. Since this is basically "Go vegan" - the song. I still won't because vegan replacements taste like donkey shit, but the lyrics are pretty well written

I feel like so small and insignificant when I listen to Gojira, these guys really make you realise the sheer scale and destructive power, yet undeniable beauty of Mother Nature. Makes me feel helpless yet somehow hopeful at the same time. This band incites emotion in me I've never had with any other band before. Keep kicking ass

Saw Gojira last year, opening for Deftones. I hadn't heard anything by them, but this song hooked me instantly & I was entranced their whole performance. Great energy & stage presence!
Back in the day, I thought they were Opeth copycats. It was in the early 2000's when I realized how amazing this band has grown into. Gojira and Chimaira were my go to heavy metal in high school.

This song is proof that metal can be beautiful and it's not just screams, smart less blastbeats, simple repetitive guitar riffs and bass lines that follow the main riff, it can have incredible vocals, groovy god tier drums, orgasmic god tier guitar riffs and, well, a bass that has his own way of playing, and this song has everything of good I mentioned, and make them even better. No words, this is hands down one of the best albums and songs I've listened In my entire life man 😎👌.

I remember seeing them for the first time back in 2009. I had never heard of them before. They were opening up for Metallica and all I knew was that they were from France. Few years passed until about 2 years from now, I find out that it was Gojira. Listened to 'Stranded', didn't really like it at first. Saw a post on FB of them playing that song live and how it was a phenomenal performance, so I gave it another shot. Immediately fell in love. Listened to Stranded again (album version) and just got completely mesmerized. Then I started to listen to their other stuff, and I can say that they're one of the best modern bands. I can't believe I missed them at Heavy Montreal... Hopefully they come back real soon.

I grew up with Gojira since I was 8 years old, my brother made me discover it, (I'm French) when I first listened to a real band which will be the first one I really got hooked on, I loved their music, I didn't know the musical genre but I'd never heard such a powerful sound, after I discovered Silvera, a simple legend, it was for me a real discovery, it had forged me. Now I'm 14 and it's and will remain my favorite music of all time :3 thanks to them I know what to do with my life, their music has inspired me all over the world, I realize everything, now I'm really hooked on music, especially Metal music :3 French/ Français : J'ai grandi avec Gojira depuis que j'ai 8 ans, mon frère me l'avait fais découvert, (je suis Français) à mes premières écoutes d'un vrai groupe qui sera d'ailleurs le premier que j'ai réelement accroché, j'ai adoré leurs musique, je ne connaisais pas le genre musical mais je n'avais jamais entendu un son aussi puissant, après j'ai découvert Silvera, une simple légende, se son fût pour moi toute une découverte, ça m'avais forgé. Funny, I was just thinking how haphazard and meaningless their lyrics are. Like a bunch of pseudo-inspirational Facebook memes strewn together in no particular order.
Meaning is found by those who see it. It may not mean anything to some, but this line and it's phrasing has aided me this last week. There is no truth, only perspective. There are probably many Gojira lines that you find to be moving, while I find nothing. Though that would probably be hard, as I tend to enjoy most if not all of Gojira's work.
In some cases I think lyrics are left vague so each person can interpret them in a way that fits his/her own life. Appeals to a broader audience. Or maybe I just don't understand what they are talking about...

This Gojira song is definitely one of my favorites. It has a fantastic solo, great drumming, high energy, strong vocals, and killer riffs.

I feel like so small and insignificant when I listen to Gojira, these guys really make you realise the sheer scale and destructive power, yet undeniable beauty of Mother Nature. This song is proof that metal can be beautiful and it's not just screams, smart less blastbeats, simple repetitive guitar riffs and bass lines that follow the main riff, it can have incredible vocals, groovy god tier drums, orgasmic god tier guitar riffs and, well, a bass that has his own way of playing, and this song has everything of good I mentioned, and make them even better.

I remember seeing them for the first time back in 2009. I had never heard of them before. They were opening up for Metallica and all I knew was that they were from France. Few years passed until about 2 years from now, I find out that it was Gojira. Listened to 'Stranded', didn't really like it at first. Saw a post on FB of them playing that song live and how it was a phenomenal performance, so I gave it another shot. Immediately fell in love. Listened to Stranded again (album version) and just got completely mesmerized. Then I started to listen to their other stuff, and I can say that they're one of the best modern bands.
I can't believe I missed them at Heavy Montreal... Hopefully they come back real soon.

I grew up with Gojira since I was 8 years old, my brother made me discover it, (I'm French) when I first listened to a real band which will be the first one I really got hooked on, I loved their music, I didn't know the musical genre but I'd never heard such a powerful sound, after I discovered Silvera, a simple legend, it was for me a real discovery, it had forged me. Now I'm 14 and it's and will remain my favorite music of all time :3 thanks to them I know what to do with my life, their music has inspired me all over the world, I realize everything, now I'm really hooked on music, especially Metal music :3

Meaning is found by those who see it. It may not mean anything to some, but this line and it's phrasing has aided me this last week.
There is no truth, only perspective. There are probably many Gojira lines that you find to be moving, while I find nothing. Though that would probably be hard, as I tend to enjoy most if not all of Gojira's work.
In some cases I think lyrics are left vague so each person can interpret them in a way that fits his/her own life. Appeals to a broader audience. Or maybe I just don't understand what they are talking about...
