Lou Gossett Jr, Dead at 87

Talented actor Louis Gossett Jr died today, March 29, 2024 at the age of 87. He begs in his career in a high school play and acted on Broadway, television and movies playing a vast range of characters. His range was displayed in his widely acclaimed performance as the “Fiddler” in roots and in his comedic performance in the Western “ Skin Game” with James Garner. He claimed groundbreaking awards with becoming the first African American to receive a award for Best Supporting Actor I the movie “An Officer & A Gentlemen”. He was a talented and proud African American who spoke and wore his pride in his colorful and stylish clothing. His impact o the community and acting is an impactful one.
