@Grant Nelson, Can you please, tell me, what degrees, your flaps, were at, when you landed, I did not here the flaps, noise indicator, thanks in advance
landed there years ago in a friends Widgeon. moored at the north shore beach and walked around a bit, then upon leaving he did a barrel roll once we cleared the ridgeline.
Great video, but with a lake that long, why land right on the approach end? Looks like a loss of an engine from the 180 on results in to going into the trees.
Looked greasy, from a land lubber's perspective. 'The fact that you...' Would've loved to hear the rest of that. 😉 Absolutely stunning location!
Incredible video and great flying. Little S turn on short final was clutch.
What a treat to see that and be there!
I love the freedom of this!
Coolest thing I've seen all year. Sweet.
amazing, thanks for sharing. gave up flying a few years ago, but this made me think, if I should go back to it. :-)
Beautiful..........Very nice !
Wow, really nice 👍
Well that was interesting! Those trees, though!
2:03... where's the rudder? where's the rudder? where's the... There it is! Me likey, scrubbing speed downwind.

beautiful
Takes a set of balls to fly that close to the tree tops and still land safely on the water. 😮
A beauty landing eh!
That is different flying compared to me. I want to do this.
fishing must be good..

Agree.
Because that's the end he wanted to be at. I'd have approached higher and slipped off the extra altitude myself though.
A lot of potential problems with landing at that lake.....I'll pass.
Beautiful lake setting though.
yeah, there are a few planes on the bottom of that lake
Question: why not pull a slip once your over the ridge line the lake is long enough and no trees
