This made me so upset here today, Jodie could not even whisper Sherpa without head up, that squeak and rush to the door, had feared this since Sherpa went downhill the clue was there the last visit to the field and remember Sherpa did not want to leave the Biscuit Lady... This is such a sad day, I didn't think it would affect me as badly as it has, having all these feelings for a dog I've never met but it really has wrecked me, I needed Key today more than I have ever done. Thank you Jodie.

Same here that is rough. I dealt with it before with my Dog she was German shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix she was 12 years old. She died on 09/15/2015 I may want a tattoo of her. Jamie is not alone with lost of a Dog. I would do is send cards to him flood his mailbox because we all loved the dog.

I think Sherpa visited Key to show him he is fine. He looks very serious in this video like he knows he won't be playing with him anymore, because Sherpa is going home. And when the time comes he will be there for his loved ones. Many people that had near death experiences saw their pet babies very happy.

I always wanted to know if his tendency to "announce" himself to everyone in public wherever he goes was an inherent trait or somehow the result of his upbringing cause I never seen that in another dog (not even Key does that despite his vocal nature & all his quirks) it was Sherpa's only special trait but a very unique one
so now I wonder if the next puppy will also have that trait or not
@@blackfalkon4189 I remember when Jamie would be out with Sherpa and he’d be shouting to all the “hoomans”. Jamie would try to shush him and be a bit embarrassed. I thought to myself, let Sherpa howl all he wants. There will come a day when you’ll wish you could hear that sweet sound. Sherpa was very unique with his vocalizations. I hope Jamie gets another dog just like Sherpa and names him Sherpa the Second and call him “Dually”. Are you familiar with that term?

Poor Key lost his best friend, I feel sad for him. The friendship he and Sherpa shared was so special to watch. Take care guys.
It was this channel that helped me discover Sherpa. And the video Jamie posted today was super emotional. Heck even I shed a few tears myself. The good thing is that Sherpa had a great life! And I’m thankful I got to found out about him while he was still around.
But I feel like I lost a friend when Jamie broke the news. At least he isn’t struggling any longer and he can rest peacefully.
And I’ve been following this beautiful boy here for just as long. Key I know you and Jodie will help us all process this and bring us some smiles. As we celebrate the memories of Sherpa and the great life he lived! We shouldn’t be sad he’s gone but happy that we was part of our lives!

It took me hours to get over the passing of Sherpa. I come here and see a Key video where you are asking what does he hear. In my heart I know Key was reacting to the passing of Sherpa. Dogs know things, they feel on a whole different level.

Lovely Sherpa, gone. So sad, like losing one of my own. Dogs are sent to us to enrich our lives, to demonstrate what unconditional love means, and to learn how to let go and grieve. I believe when we die all the dogs of our life will run to us. I always say never again, but after a respectful time I welcome a new companion, to bring a new character into my life, all my dogs so different but so great.

I’m sure that Sherpa went to visit K’eyush and tell him how wonderful he feels now and I believe that the next time K’ey goes to the park, Sherpa will be right there with him.
