This was a huge help! I have a Streamlight Polytac mounted to the angled receiver rail on my Steyr AUG A3M1 via a GG&G 1” light mount. Thanks to this tutorial I was able to successfully mount a Large Shock Collar and Medium Light Cap.
I give One Hundred Concepts a 4.8/5! Very simple and effective upgrade but I didn't get a ranger band with mine!!🤨 Of course I had some extras. Not the end of the world. You guys owe me a ranger band😅
Like you mentioned at the end of the video that is very loud when you dock the light cap is that what you call it? Would it hurt to take the Ranger band And cover the collar?
Hey, man! No, that would not hurt anything and would help dampen the sound. We've solved most of the complaints about the LightCap's form and function since launch, but the noise made when doffing/donning is the last one. I'm happy to say we have a really great solution in the works that will mitigate it, but using the ranger band over the collar, is a great stopgap. Also, some folks have had luck with loop Velcro applied to the inside of the cap. Hope that helps! - Jonah
I took the extra shock cord and wrapped it around the head of the flashlight overtop of the other cord and tied it off, It reduced the noise quite a bit.
@@thrash7 yeah the turbo is slightly too small for the large and too big for the medium. I reached out to customer service and they said they’re working on the size for the duel fuel. I bought a medium and literally had to thread the shortest screws till it was sticking out almost a quarter of an inch.
so, I followed the spec sheet as well as the emails that I received with sizing Information. The Scout series is slated as the small sizing for the shock collar and the cap. this is incorrect information and led to me ordering the incorrect size. I sent an email on the website to the contact, ad few days later I received an email back and the rep said that he believed that the Scout Mini Pro that I have, takes a large size ring and collar, the person then asked if I wanted to send the one I have back, I replied with sure but I would also like to know how i can get the correct size. This was on May 1st, since then it has been radio silence, I even sent a follow up email yesterday asking for an update, again radio silence. I get it things happen and there is always the possibility of documentation mistakes, no big deal, but when the customer service is lacking, that signifies a larger issue. If at some point this is resolved I will add a comment to this with my thoughts on the product, as I don't feel comfortable giving thoughts on a product without being able to use the proper product for my application.
Same for me, they sent me a size S, and the cap fits but the shock collar is too small. You would think for frickin $50 they would be able to get their sizing right and include the allen key you need. I also had to go to the store to get the correct size key.

I just received two of my light caps with shock collar but neither one had the ranger band
What ranger band are you talking about? They don't come with ranger bands.
@@ShawnBrockman-xl2ycin the video he says they come with a ranger band
I had a lightcap in my cart for my brother and a shock collar for myself but the cap was sold out, glad business is good!
Received my shock collar today and retrofit my lightcap with it on my vampire, couldn't be happier! Thanks gents
Glad to hear that! Thank you for giving us a try. @@turdferguson2863

What size do I need for the surefire scout mini?

What size shock collar is that?
I think it's a medium shock collar. I had bought a large for a Surefire Dual Fuel Turbo and it never made full contact.

Oh shoot that sucks. I just ordered one for the m600, I think it said to use size small. I hope it fits
@@narutobrokenhow did that go?
@@hikeskool small did not fit the M600 series ☹️ their sizing guide is wrong, they are sending me a size medium
@@narutobroken good to know they are taking care of it👌

Blue loctite ERRYTHANG!!! (and white sharpie witness mark)
I didnt receive a ranger band in my light cap, who’s the genius who chose this horrible angle for an instructional video anyways?
Their instructions videos are terrible. No ranger band w mine either.
Bicycle inner tube and scissors
I think the shock collar / lightcap combo packages don’t come with ranger band anymore.
Am I having deja vu?
