At the start when you said that you were partying and having fun in high school but realized warcraft was more fun. I had that same realization in college. I went out to party, drink, street race, but always just had more fun playing WoW. I was just doing all the other stuff to fit in and impress my friends. Do stuff what makes you happy.
Cata was Peak for me I was finally old enough to know what the hell I was doing in game for raiding and PVP and Ele and Rogue was my main =D

Cata is an interesting mid point between classic and retail wow. It has philosophies from both versions of the game.

Funny that you played on a macbook mini, I used to play on a macbook air 11 inch and I needed to download a windows emulator just to run wow. (every setting was set to the lowest) and I was still able to get up to 2000 in 2's arena with constant lag.

I just now got my warrior to Vashire and mobs are taking me below half hp 😅 I think my gear is just cheeks right now and it’ll get better but right now combat and questing feels pretty bad 😅

Can’t decide whether to play cata or mop remix. I missed out on wotlk.

Cata. Mop remixed is cooked unless you were able to do the frog farm and gain insane power before they nerfed it. Otherwise it feels really bad when you’re doing 200k dps and someone else is doing 2 million dps and can solo the raids

@@websiteowns It sounds a little deranged, but I'm in similar boat as that guy. I have level 60 something character that I abandoned in TBC. By the time I get to level cap with no gold to my name (so no flying), I will be weeks behind.
Bro... me and my friends are still level 82. We barely getting a level a day. People are being too sweaty.

We watched everyone cry and complain about cataclysm but it's huge right now, use all talk crap because you think by saying this garbage you will fit in with the ultra nerds of wow classic but people want to play these games, as long as retail keeps getting worse and it does people will continue to play re-releases
Warlords classic but they give us all the content they cut and maybe, but mostly mop would be the cut off for me

cata was the goat xpac.. NGL. but still not gonna go back and play this re-release tbh. best to leave the memories in the past as we all know the re-release is never nearly as good as the original. wish they would make retail similar to what cata was tbh.

Id like them to release mop, skip wod and go straight to legion. Wont happen tho but some can hope. Top 3 expansions, Cata, MoP, Legion easily.
Uldum is such a stupid zone. Instead of developing the lore for the Tol'vir, Qiraji and Al'akir, they just decided to literally copy and paste Indiana Jones. The whole of Cataclysm is a pop culture circus.

i dont play wow anymore but seeing this seems so dumb. they ruined retail with WoD and never fixed it. the community, specially the pvpers begged for wotlk and mop servers all the time. i honestly dont understand what blizzard is doing at this point.
CATA is the worst ver of old wow and was the beginning of the end for blizzard iv played all of cata it was handholdie abuseable IE i abused LFR rolled on all the loot i cud got 9 piece had people begging me for some loot told them too kick rocks only did LFR twice got all the gear in two weeks and proceed too DK maintank and be meh at it and still start clearing deathwing on week 8 also D3 beta showed how bad my beloved diablo was being treated at the end of cata i quit retail never too return i talked mad sht about the game since wrath 3.1 so i don't care if people think i just started my hate train in cata activison hand in the game started to make me hate wow TBC is still my fav ver of wow even tho i quit P2 because of burnout in classic vanilla cus my guild got sweaty in P3 wanted too return to that vs play wrath only too find out no TBC era servers what a waste i fought for Era vanilla wanted Era TBC and even Era Wrath for the wrath guys only for blizz too sht on there fans what a waste of time this was gonna take a lot for me to ever buy another blizzard game
classic was blizzards last chance that is now gone only way i will ever return too retail classic wow is if they do seasonal servers with out all the BS i and all oldschoolers never wanted too see IE the shineys store or the token or boosts you hurt classic when you let your RETAILERS TAKE IT OVER all the stupid zoomer changes like BLOODRAGE/heroism reset and all other stupid handholdie QOL that no one wanted but your modern wow players!

lol your gaming knowledge is as good as your english. Cata was the beginning of the end and yet WoW still has millions of subs 13 years after Cata. A lot of people quit in Cata cause they grew up and started working. I had a blast in Cata but unfortunately couldn't play the whole expansion cause I was on my last year of Uni. Most people I knew started quiting in Cata cause they had full time jobs and didn't have time to play. Also it was around that time MOBA games became popular and kids wanted to play MOBA games cause it was free and there was no boring 24/7 farming involved. That's also the reason blizzard had to make wow more casual. Not all of us have no life to play a video game for 10h per day.

People don’t understand Cata had so much new blood come into the game and in my opinion was the best PvP was ever at which also led into MoP PvP being incredible as well. I loved Cata and I’m 26, and I’ve been dying for Cata classic to release to prove that the expansion was actually incredible, it’s up to individuals to decide to have an open mind to truly give it a try and remove themselves from this pessimistic view stance so many older wow players have
