Mechelen Adegemstraat: Festive opening of the renovated Cycling and Walking Street!

The Adegemstraat in Mechelen has officially reopened after a thorough renovation! The street, together with Onze-Lieve-Vrouwestraat, is now a 1 kilometer long green and inviting cycling street and walking street with extra attention to meeting people. In a bicycle street, cars are not allowed to pass cyclists, making it safer and more pleasant to cycle. Residents, traders and the city council celebrated the reopening with a festive event with food trucks, music and fun activities for young and old.
