A very close friend and colleague of mine has been chosen to represent a national organisation that he has been a devoted and proud member of for many years, at the civilian march-past on Sunday morning at the Cenotaph. His friends and colleagues are all SO pleased and proud for him. Today, in work, he received a text giving instructions: he can't wear uniform to travel to London or until he gets to Horse Guards Parade, whilst in London he is not to talk to ANYONE other than his fellow marchers, he must not give an opinion on any world issues and is also forbidden to discuss Remembrance Sunday with anyone outside his group for fear of causing offence etc.....
AND THIS IS WHAT MILLIONS PAID THE SUPREME SACRIFICE FOR IN TWO WORLD WARS AND COUNTLESS OTHER CONFLICTS?????
Bloody ridiculous, sad & disgusting.

Whoever sent him those texts should be ashamed of themselves. The muslim march should be banned for Remembrance Sunday , or given a designated area miles away. The police response is pathetic and it should be classed as a dereliction of their duty to keep the peace. The government should step in over this.
So there coursing offence to him and everyone else instead. How do they not see how one-sided that is .
So, just because the other group is more likely to be violent, everyone else in the uk has to be punished. That isn't how it's meant to be . When did the powers that be become so scared of actually using the powers that are there for a safe and fair country.

I've been working abroad for 40+ yrs and made annual visits. I returned earlyer this year to retire in the UK but for the first time I felt unsafe as a white straight man in my home county
Decided to retire abroad where I feel safe.

no it hasnt , london has , get out of the cities and the mostly muslim towns if you want to see british culture , its still there , just not in our capital anymore , personally i live on the north east coast and I will never visit london again

Unacceptable. Why are thousands of the immigrants young unmarried men. Not rocket science - get rid of the immigrants & give the police power again. i really dislkied esther when i first starting watching her on this show. she seemed at the time, just imo, so opinionated. now i think she's one of the most clued up guests, she knows everthing about any topic discussed.

Why are patriots called far-right and football hooligans? My goodness, London biase on show. People love this Country, love its values and its traditions, yet when they try to stand up for it, even Plank of the Week is using negative language to describe them. Love the rest of the show, lots of common sense and truthful insights.

As far as I can discern, people are against the POLICIES of a country, namely Israel. I never hear anti ‘Jewish’ rhetoric. I find it rather complex, as the religion itself seems divided in its belief.

it’s a bit of a misnomer calling them a police force. they don’t police crime and they’re not forceful when they find criminality.

We had Remembrance day here in Australia Saturday 11th November. I was at the airport going through the security gates at 11am, the trumpeter started the last post, and the majority of people stopped all activity out of respect. The muslim security people that are employed by the airport, and right in front of me, started snickering and rolling their eyes. I was fecking disgusted!!! I certainly gave them dagger looks. If I made some small mistake about them, I'd be marched off to diversity training. How bloody dare they!
We are infected and it's global it seems. The freedoms that our service men and women have died for are coming back to bite us.
