I was brought up to always respect the police and obey the law. Sadly, the police is now an organisation driven by ideology and do not apply the law neutrally. We now live in a society in which the police will undertake the prescribed duties depending on who you are and what you represent. What irritating nonsense. Can we NOT criticise actors for portraying nasty people. They are actors. It is their job! A story is being acted out. It was a story that needed to be told. By all means if actors are pratting about offstage, or off screen, take a pop but not for actually doing their job and, though I am not a Steve Coogan fan.. he did a good job. If he was creepy...... then he nailed the role. Actually the plank of the week this week is you Mr Graham.

All other content aside: Steve Coogan as an actor is ACTING Saville, very well. He’s not being himself. I’m not sure his films should be weaponised or played in a news channel as part of a character assassination. It’s going to be a scary place if we begin to believe that the roles every actor plays are just a version of himself..

Mike and kelvin seem very bitter about Coogan playing this part , he played it well and the BBC giving victims a voice seems to be overlooked by these to bitter chaps.

Arguably very much assisting the platform for the victims to be given a voice finally, as you say.
