I've known Peter since 2001 and this is what makes the difference, his approach is hollistic and he's not afraid to tackle difficult subjects

I thought so too. I was originally just recording it as a lark, but so many questions I didn't even know I had LOL were answered that I decided to post the entire thing here.

16:54 - Why was the Crown 350 amp bright when its frequency response was flat? According to Bob Fulton, it's due to 2nd & 3rd Harmonics

Solid-state designs have come a long way in 40 years, and they do have advantages in terms of maintenance and reliability. Still, can they do everything Audionote does?? No.
All good stereo systems cost a lot. I just priced a mid-tier Simaudio system (solid-state) with the JBL l100 classics and it cost $12K. For a few thousand more you could get an entry-level Audionote system.

Meshplate tubes ...............;they are realy something special on a musical based experience.
I do have some mainly german made .............DRATH ANODE .
Beware of fake current production which are simply only perforated anodes !!!!
