Just did this routine four sets of each and my arms ready to drop off me. Great super set work out. I have added it to bands tricon sets now and will alternate between the two
I can handle more weight with bicep work than tricep work. Do you suggest keeping the same weight and thereby undertrain biceps, or superset using 2 different weights?
I am in my 50s and do similar exercises as part of a whole body workout, 2 to 3 times a week. Personally, I would start at 2 times a week (alternating days) and after a few months, 3 times a week. When older, rest for the joints and muscles is highly important.
I don't know what some of these Wusses are talking about. Yes, you CAN get a fine pump with what he is doing here. And, you CAN see it in 10 minutes if you do it correctly.
I had a girlfriend in college who would come over for a few minutes after class. She did not have a lot of time before she had to go to work. She would only stay about ten minutes. We called it a blow and go.
you keep baby-stepping us and talking to us like we have never seen a gym. The "bicep curl only-guy" is a myth and you know it. The 1st thing you are told by anyone, to the point it is a constant. is you work your triceps for arm strength / size, not your biceps. i've been harsh, love the channel just finding it a bit "pre-school" only. I'm past needing to be baby talked. i need to be pushed.
I am in my 50s and have hypertrophy in my biceps and triceps by doing about 2 sets each of hammer, palm up, and palm down and 2 sets with bands of hammer or palm up.
@@turntablesrockmyworld9315 Hi NOT SO BRIGHT, I've been doing flat and incline flys for years and never got a tear . You have no clue as to what you're talking about.
@@musicman7297 Well this is interesting; your writing seems fairly insulting . Can you explain what you are talking about in reference to my comment? I'm waiting.
@@turntablesrockmyworld9315 Hi NOT SO BRIGHT.... i read your other , NOT SO BRIGHT COMMENTS .... that you made about doing dumbbell flys. NOT TOO BRIGHT, ARE YOU?????
@@musicman7297 unfortunately, you have posted this deranged outburst on another thread that does not contain that comment to which you are referring. To respond, ask any surgeon which upper resistance exercises are riskiest for older adults and cause the most pec strains and tears and they will most likely say to minimise flyes and #1 being bench presses for those older and/or those newer to training. Thousands of pec tears in North America occur each year. In fact, doing light rehab using these exercises is good but no surgeon is going to recommend doing flyes for older beginners on a bench. Most will most likely suggest doing on the ground where range of motion is limited when weights get heavier relative to strength.
Best workout video for an older guy I have ever seen. This guy is good
Thanks great work GW!!
Great info ! Thanks President Bush !
Can you show us a forearm-focused exercise set? Thank you!
Thanks!!!
Looks like a healthy bar in the background LOL

Love these exercises
Thank you Mr Bush 😊
Thanks for showing your workout
Which dumbbell set do you use or recommend buying?
What weight were you using?

Every day, or every other day???
Question. How many times a week should you do this exercise?
Same question.

Thank you!
What’s the weight of those dumbbells??
super set biceps and Triceps is the only way to go. Exercises help relax other muscle while doing the exercise.
How can I do pullups at home without those crappy door frame pullup bars? 🙏
George Bush looks great.
After leaving the white house he has more time to workout 😂
GB is a freaking criminal...never mind how he looks, man
The George bush jokes and references are like from 2018 and dudes still try to be funny with it. Old sh*t
😂
Bahhhhhhhh Nooooo Shit!!!!!!!
I’ve seen a lot of physical exercises, repitions, sets, but not a single mention of the weight of the dumbbells they were using??
how many pounds?? ?
I deleted Facebook
that face pull machine, gets the adrenaline up as well, it could let go at anytime.
when pulling bands forward, I wear eye safety googles.
i sware i am the only guy on the planet over 50 that has time and access to a gym. Any workouts for me?

What did you do for the other 9 minutes? Try to get rid of her?

I'm 63 and you don't get bigger arms with only 10 minutes of lifting.
