i use my voice in videos and it really helps out veiwer to understand what are you doing and what is going on, using text, you cant express your emotions, i find using my voice really helps out my viewers! we all have this moment when we reveal something on youtube, or we start of with our voice! so it is understandable that it took you this long to reveal your voice, we all need convidence, every one needs convidence, when i started my youtube channel, i didn't even gain that many subs, like 1-2 at max, so if i put more convidence into my video, i'd gain more subscribers, that what i did, now i am at 39!!! woohoo so remember, put lots of convidence into your videos and put lots of work and editing skills into it! i also want to upload my fan art on your discord thank you!
