You don't post much, but when you do, it's life changing. Kudos to what you do! Amazing tapping techniques on the guitar. I still want to build my own version of the Minimoog someday. Thanks for an incredible video.
Tight! After building a few 500 series components and a single pickup Tele with some unique wiring and tone caps, I've started exploring a DIY synth. This video settles it. Now I HAVE TO build my own synth. Keep it up.
@@RyanBoggs I get it. Moving back to NYC soon for work and will have to find a good amp sim. Painting the guitar was the only part that drove the family nuts due to the fumes
man... this sounds amazing. thanks! for some reason I thought this would be more common,, I mean connecting a guitar w/ a mini moog and actually creating nice music..
Cool to actually get to watch you explore and make the most out of the capabilities of what you built! Always interesting for me to see others' creative processes, and you also cranked out a nice little ditty I could imagine in a retro-style indie game soundtrack.
Dude just wanted say favorite video I’ve watched today!!! I understand if you have a huge vision and don’t wanna post or this to blow up. God bless you, music for musics sake.
awesome sounds :) love when synthesis and instruments are combined, feels like what the future (now) should sound like, if you like music like this, i was reminded of my friend Dali Vision (Ari Finkel) the album dark green is very much in this key i feel
Amazing sounds and relaxing to listen to !! I know you put many hours into building your Minimoog. With the rewards being demonstrated in this video. Again thanks for sharing your story
How is it working is what I'd like to know? You have a line in bypassing the synth and going to the effect? Does the line in cut out synth functions? please tell me there's a way to send my guitar through the deepmind 12d!
Thanks for sharing your project! Can't imagine how many hours you spent on this fantastic piece of kit you have made. I'm going to make one for myself. Question the list of Parts did you find any parts in the list that should be changed? And the little boards you made to fit the part for bigger boards can I buy those from you? And the traces that you found incorrect are there any details in how to fix? May be a donation for any help? Thanks
Thanks for the comment! Yes there were a few parts that needed to be changed but these are few and far between. I do have a list of resources in the video description including my personal parts list among other things. Included is a link to a document where I show all of the necessary oscillator board changes to get it working. I still have 2 spare sets of PCBs left, including all Moog boards, my MIDI board, and the trimmer converter boards. If you would be interested in buying any of those off me, you can reach me at ryanboggsmedia@gmail.com.
Unfortunately making if smaller wouldnt help much. It would help on the PCB cost, but not on the parts cost. I might have been able to make it a bit cheaper with a bit more work finding cheaper parts but it wasnt much worth my time to do that.
Absolutely! Ive been crazy busy in my personal life lately, but very soon my time should open up and I really want to dedicate a lot of that time to music. I'd love to do another vid like this one.
I could seriously listen to hours of you playing like that, it’s this uptempo mellow chill sound to me, totally dig it. Hoping to see more!
Thank you so much! I hope to do more like this soon.
If I walked into a studio or a band practice and heard that playing there’s literally 0 chance I could keep myself from jumping in to jam.

Nice! I've considered building a custom guitar! Though at the moment I have a but of a space issue being in a small apartment and all.

The sound is amazing, I want to do something like this someday, you should be proud of your skills.

If you put together some performances with this kinda vibe I’d definitely like to see it live. Great stuff.
This is beautiful stuff..Peace from Ireland bro!
Very cool, sir. Satisfying to use the Moog, Im sure. Nice Tele too.

great btw thank you
You need to post more
I do! I have had a lot happening in my personal life, but things are smoothing out soon. Hope to have more content ready to go ASAP!
@@RyanBoggs take care man, take it slow 🦥
Is your guitar in tune or is my guitar out of tune?
Well I am using a special tuning. D A F# C# F# D. Borrowed this tuning from Ichika Nito's song Ethereal Feel :)
@@RyanBoggs I knew something was slightly off 😂 great work on the synth, it sounds amazing.
cool
kind of Cluster-produced-by-Tosca-(featuring-Fennesz)-ish :)
make a small version of Minioog´s for poor people 😟😟

need another video of you just making music

Massa pra caralho véi!!!
Pete Townsend (The Who) did similar on the song "Who Are You":
ua-cam.com/video/LYb_nqU_43w/v-deo.html 🤘😎👍
🤘🤘🤘
Looks like you need a Chapman Stick, rather than a guitar. 👍
