I used an Electrolux for many years before it finally burned up. I got this one after seeing this review and others. I absolutely love the thing. It is nice that it is cordless and so lightweight. Only problem I have is that the batteries die so fast.
on the hard floor test it looks to me that the debris was pushed by the squeegee as the vacuum was on the backwards pull. I didn't see anything get scattered from the brush roll on the forward stroke
Just found your channel 😁 thank you for the review on this. I've been looking for a cordless for the carpet for in-between deep cleaning & thought I had found one from another channel but upon looking for more reviews yesterday on the vacuum I actually ordered yesterday I cancelled it last night bc the other review I found it was ear piercing loud! I immediately went to Amazon & cancelled it right there! I am going to order this one even though I was looking for something that could be more multipurpose but I think this will be better since I already have a cordless for hard floors anyway & a upright corded vacuum. I need something that I can use without having to drag out the corded vac for carpets all the time. And also I like the fact that you show how to fix the problem with the brush roll hitting the metal! Excellent 👍 I never even thought of getting a bagged cordless which some ppl might say it's an ongoing cost since you have to buy bags but I think it's worth it bc I already own 2 canister vacuums & a 3rd canister would just add 1 more vacuum to freaking clean all the time! So Im liking this one & it's very nice looking & way quieter than I expected it to be. Just liked & subscribed! 👍
I have had mine sine late January 2021. One of the battries stopped charging and I open up a warranty claim on it a week ago. Will let you know how it goes. Loving it for quick picks around the house.
@@fishkluch Yes, me too. I used the chat option on their website. They kind of hinted that maybe there was a battery batch or similar issue that's been resolved.
Really appreciate this. This is indeed a far superior vacuum to the cordless Dyson V8 my roommate had. I picked one up NOS for pretty cheap though I kinda wish I found one with warranty due the reported battery issues. Only long term issue I see is these batteries. When mine start to wear out I'm going to look into adapting 18v Ridgid batteries due to their lifetime service agreement warranty. I bought a Sebo K3 but I found myself using this more due to the convenience. Strangely enough I actually find this works a bit better than the Sebo Et1 head at cleaning up stray bits of hay from my pet rabbits. Both beat a loud shopvac.
It looks like a great machine but I can't help but wonder what they were thinking sending these out the door with the ingest bars issue. So many customers are going to spend big money (versus a big-box vacuum brand) and be pissed off when their brand new machine sounds like something is caught in the brush roll. It's an easy fix but how many people will actually research and find the solution vs. sending the machine back, potentially to be replaced by another noisy machine.
Didn't you used to also perform tests for how well a vacuum is 'sealed' from dust/allergens leaking out? (using a particle counter) Extremely helpful for people like me with allergies!
I really dig the way this machine sounds. It seems silly, but I want one based on that. Have an Oreck XL currently; think the girlfriend and cats would be delighted to have something quieter and cordless. Now it is between this and the Windtunnel Max (which seems to do everything).
Okay 👌. I just ordered this vacuum and can’t wait to do a side by side test with the Shark cordless. I have a feeling the Hoover will be an easy vacuum in maintenance. However the shark can break down and do an upright and canister job all in one but then you have to clean all those filters. 😢
I purchased one and have read reviews and no one is getting 20 minutes on the smaller battery. On the hard floor setting it gets 10 minutes. Of course I don’t run it till it dies bc this isn’t good for the cells in the battery. Did you get the larger battery or the smaller batteries they send with the bundle?
I understand both Oreck and Hoover are owned by TTI. But, why did they make the same machine and slap an Oreck sticker on one and a Hoover sticker on the other?
It will works on soft carpet but not shag. Most retailers that you can purchase this from have a 30-day return policy in case it doesn't work for you. It's based off the Oreck XL-21 so that might give you some insight.
Hoover ONEPWR HEPA+ Cordless Upright Vacuum Cleaner running lights not turning off even when vacuum switch is turned off. Draining battery if battery not removed to save charge. Anyone know what is going on and how to troubleshoot this?
I got one after your first video came out with the link in that video. I have mostly carpet in my house and I really like it. I've had it for about a month and so love the fact I have not emptied a dust bin after every use! My wife leaves the vacuuming up to me but did comment from seeing it that it's nice to see a quality cordless machine. My only complaint is that you can't see the battery level while running the machine or that it warnings you when the battery is low. My Cordless Henry and Cordless Shark Ion P50 (Please no shaming) both have indicators you can easily see while using the machine. Hopefully they improve that by putting a light on the base of the machine or setting the head light to flash when it's about to die. Also some consumers might like a Cordless Bundle where you get this machine with a cordless canister like the old Oreck days but with a better hose.
Hoover ONEPWR HEPA+ Cordless Upright Vacuum Cleaner running lights not turning off even when switched off. Battery must be removed or otherwise battery will drain.
This would be good for the 2nd floor of my house for quick vacuuming of the rugs since I mostly leave the hose attached to our Sentria II for hard floors and furniture cleaning.
This really picks up well for being a cordless machine. And it doesn't sound very wimpy sounds like a regular oreck would a sound.

I have the Oreck Elevate Conquer as my daily vac and I love it. It’s been a great vac and certainly an upgrade from the XL2 I sold.

How did it go?
@@fishkluch They sent me a new battery and now I have the replacement for the other one coming.
@@ryanhawkins1235 that's cool they did that. Hopefully they sort out the battery issues soon enough

I'm surprised that Hoover/TTI discontinued this model with nothing to replace it with. Closest thing is a corded version.

I wonder if they fixed it. The one I picked up doesn't have this issue. Seems like they've been discontinued though

So how does it move on plush carpets? I know that Oreck’s have problems with that so I worry about it in my house

How does the magnet on the brush roll work? What does it do?
I going to detail in this video here on that.

Which one is better? This version, or the Commercial version?
Commercial is technically just a normal machine but with a high grade cord

Would this be a good vacuum for commercial use? At a school.
No you want to use something from Hoover's commercial line for that
That is why you need it in full power for hard floors .
The same as for low pile carpet and yes this a good vacuum cleaner
Will it also do hardfloor?
As shown in the video,no.
Will this be a bad choice for a one-bedroom apartment with all hard floors?
This Machines for carpet.
If you have all hard floors take a look at a Henry compact
