Opt in means we will force it on you in the next update. There's a reason why they do these things. Just knowing this software is on my pc would make me wipe it ASAP!
Ive got one of those new snapdragon computers on pre oder but its for work - that recall sh** is totally incompatible with a work laptop.
Yeah. We know how they operate. We all know it won't be opt-in forever.
Microsoft's biggest mistake is they do not make windows OS on phone anymore, of course they are going to add more and more shit on the desktop.
Mexico, Norway; alphabetical LOL.
Which is why instead of moving to Window 11 I am moving to Linux. I am an IT professional that doesn't use any other Microsoft products but Windowsl and PowerToys and prefer a local account. With alll the time and software I spend to manage windows I could be learning and customizing Linux.
Linux is a crap. full stop
Bro, you think Windows is hard to manage? Lol. Love linux...but managing it far more hands on. Especially at scale.
Linux is bs tbh. They cannot even make ABI stable and that is why you cannot ship binaries that would work on linux
@@coshvjicujmlqef6047 Yeah, the vast amount of servers on the Internet are Linux and Linux plays many Windows Games and runs some Windows Software, so you just keep telling yourself it is crap.
@@user-yl8po9by5u Thats my point I would be fighting to get the system to do something, rather than fighting to constantly block and manage and track what Windows is doing to screw me over now. And 11 takes it too far. I could care if it is more work, at least it would be working to make it work, not fighting to keep my privacy.
